Chrollo wants to kill hisoka, the ability that he wants to steal is for an EASY garentee kill (probably Camilla's cat) Again it doesn't mean that he would lose without that ability, or that the rest of the spiders can't defeat hisoka. All it means is that chrollo doesn't want to take ANY CHANCE the same way he did in heaven's arena

Chrollo is desperate for the ability to raise his skill hunter, and in fact admitted he's not PREPARED to fight hisoka yet unless he gets the possession. Whether you like it or not Hisoka IS PREPARED to fight the troupe in any way.

35:48 could it be that Hisoka has found a new person to target. Someone like Beyond. We know that hisoka is always down for a fight but hes ok with waiting for the best fight. So while killing time to get to the dark continent to potentially get on the way of Beyond with Beyond, he kills the legs of the spider to anger chrollo and goes off to fight Beyond. Once hes done with that, he fights chrollo for the last time. I feel like that would be the most plausible explanation.

Regarding arc parallels, the Hunter exam in vol 33 parallels the beginning of the series (kinda disappointed Tonpa didn’t make a cameo), Hisoka v Chrollo was Heavens Arena, Succ War is Yorkshin, DC is Greed Island, and Gyro will be Chimera Ant. Kind of a speedrun for those first two arcs.

Respect Togashis Troupe translation bro. They're better than TCB, and often times better than the official was in this batch. When you were reading the Hingrigh and Zakuro dialogue did you notice how it was straight up flowing? And when you were reading Chrollo's inner thoughts? They were cooking with the translation. The flow of dialogue and logic is so easy to follow and is super smooth.

Lol, TCB is the worst translation for HxH... They made few big mistakes this batch, while Togashi's Troupe is mostly spot on. People seems to like TCB, because they try to make text more "cool", but it is often just not containing the meaning of Togashi's words.
