My comfort song.❤️ To everyone who are reading this, don’t let other people stop you from doing amazing things in life. Don’t be afraid to be different. You don’t need validation from other people. Their judgement is not who you are. You are seen, you are enough and you are loved. As long as you know who you are and what you’re capable of, you have nothing to prove to anyone who keep bringing you down. Just keep believing in yourself and keep going! If no one believes in you, believe in yourself. Rooting for you! ✨🤗

True.. for an introvert like me this is so true and confusing for others to see silence as a weakness. It's just like solitude never means lonliness too. But nevertheless I've made up my mind not be rest my confidence to people's perspective. Been there and it's aweful cause someone's always gonna say something. And Different is good. Our unique self does not deserve to follow the shallow "standards" the world is telling us to be.

9 years ago, I was 17 and outcaster, bullied since I was 12. Every morning before going to school, I wanted to give up my life, and I found this music video on KZbin with the school computer. Although I didn't understand every word on lyrics because I was Korean, I understood that this story is about me, an invisible person at school, and I fell deeply into it. I downloaded this music to my tiny MP3 and listened to it every day, and here I am alive. I am so thankful for him to make such music like this. This song is more than music to me.

There is One who loves you and knows you by name… His Name is JESUS. Search His Word, and to begin, specifically with Acts 17:26 (and then back up and read the surrounding verses for context). HE SEES YOU. You are here for a purpose. Without even knowing you, I love you, because He lives in and loves others through me. You are of value to Him because you were made in His image. But though that image was marred and distorted because we all inherited the sin-nature of the first man, Adam’ Jesus died for the world to put His image back into you… put heaven back into you! If you will read God’s word (The Bible) asking Him to reveal Himself to you, HE WILL! He Loves you! And calls those who place their faith in all of what He accomplished for us - His FRIENDS! It’s SO awesome - we can be a friend of GOD!

Every time I listen to this song I cry, because he uses such powerful words and meanings, and I think a lot of people feel sorry for them selves, and then you think of all the people that go through abuse, hunger, homelessness, cancer fighters, and it's really hard to compare such a small think that a kid might pout about like not being able to get an app on their phone or something to someone who's about to die in a hospital because they have cancer. And Hunter Hayes is the best person at writing songs that mean so much more than words, it just truly fills up your heart, god gave him something very special that it seems to spread into others and his music, overall wonderful song☺

I have always been alone, introverted and been bullied throughout my school days. This song always made me cry back then, but now, I am 19 years old, matured and realized that being alone and invisible is not that bad, though, having that one person who you can always rely on is better. Still, I love being invisible, being able to do what I want alone and being alone, having my peace. Thank you for being a part of my life, this song is one of the things that made me who I am back then.

I met Hunter Hayes today (4/23/14) at 12:43. Let me just say Hunter is so sweet and nice. He is VERY considerate of his fans and truly loves us. He dedicated Wanted to us and was crying, (I had front row seats so I could see) he said he was so greatful and truly blessed. He's one of the most down to earth celebrities I've met. I walked in to his room and he shook my hand while I said "Hey I'm Emma" he then responded with "Hey Emma, I'm Hunter". He acted like ME meeting HIM was no biggy. I have and always will support this amazing, young, talented artist.

I was supposed to kill myself that day, but I heard this song, and it gave me hope. I'm still striving, falling and hoping, trying to see that light that's been gone for as long as I can remember. But I'm living, so thank you Hunter, for saving me with your song Edit:To anyone reading this now,I'm very glad to say that for the first time in a very long time,I finally became happy. I'm still not able to smile, but it was as if a burden have finally been lifted from my heart. I want to share my story with you guys,so maybe, you would realize you are not alone. I grew up in a broken family. My father used to beat me up for the smallest of things, and my mother just shrugged it off,she was always never around, always working,so I had it tough growing up,I was also bullied by my sister and her friends and was outcasted for being a nerd. Cause of the environment I grew up in,I developed anger issues and trust issues. I was wary of everyone,of getting close to anyone, and had social anxiety. I was smart,so that also added to the pressure,as my family expected me to be perfect, that made it all the more worse. I had no friends in school either,I pushed them all away. I never had a proper conversation with my parents,it always ended up with us screaming at each other and cursing,I hated them, because in my mind,it was their fault I was like this, and I hated myself. We fought a lot all the time. Recently, cause of quarantine,we were forced to be inside,so ofc I had to stay with my family and we had a very big fight. In that,I said all my feelings, every single bit of them, and I never thought that would be the changing point for everything. A miracle had happened. For the first time, they finally understood my feelings. Even if everything went downhill, and we are still healing, my family finally accepted their mistakes, and strives to change. I too, strive to accept them and myself, and work on my flaws. I haven't forgiven my father, not by a long shot, frankly not till he changes. But I will try to let go of my anger and move on. Because of all this,it was as if the dark clouds finally cleared. During this pandemic too,I gained a new friend, one I relate to a lot,and we became close fast. Guys, whatever you are feeling now,it does get better,I'm not sure if I'm fully recovered, but it feels as if my depression is finally gone. All that's left is to find my hapiness. I'm still searching, and I made that my reason to keep on living,to stay. Because there is so much more to life right now than what it is we are feeling. Please keep fighting with me, don't give up. Take it from someone who's gone through it too. Maybe not now,but you'll find your reason to stay,we all have one,you are not invisible. Hunter was right, there is so much more to life. And the pain...finally became invisible...

I love this song. Nobody ever listens to what I have to say. When my "friends" need someone, they rush to me. But when I need someone, nobody's ever there for me. No one cares what I have to say. I've gotten to the point where I might just stop talking completely. My parents favor my brothers and I'm always getting in trouble. They say they care, but I know they don't. Just like everyone else they ignore/interrupt me.

it is feels like the world betrayed us, yet we find excuses to our selves, because we didn't hear what they wanted us to be heard instead of ignoring them.. but somehow we are tired of everything because we felt wrong what we do of them, they feel us struggles but in truth, they make us stronger, the world recycle within us. just don't loose hope, it will be invisible.

I feel you. Whenever I talk, I get interrupted or shushed. "Friends", "Family", whatever. Really, nobody listens. My parents favor my brothers and my brothers hate me. I wish I was mute so people would give more attention to me, but I also wish I was mute because so that I don't have a reason as to why people don't listen. Also, I think the only reason why my parents haven't disown me or killed me is just to save their own skin.

I've been there too. I am autistic and don't talk much. Often before I can speak, someone else would roll right over me. I took to hiding away from the world and not saying a peep. However, that is now in the past. I am able to at least command the attention of others when I speak. I no longer hide in the shadows in the back of a room. My advice to you is to never give up, no matter what walls are put in your way. Don't let everyone else get you down. Just keep walking forward and keep your head held high. Also, if you are lonely and are looking for a friend, try finding someone who is an outcast in society like you. Perhaps they are also looking for a friend?

Nobody can hurt you unless you let them do it. I know these are easy words to say but it is hard for people who face it. People hunt deer for sport. But few dare to hunt a tiger. Do you know why? because tigers hunts back. Sometimes you maybe left out because you are asking recognition from wrong group of people. They are not correct, infact they maybe too dumb to understand or think the way you think. Have you ever given a thought to that. How can someone say you are of no value... they cannot read your mind, neither they are the creator of the world. You maybe not the most popular kid in the class but you don,t have to be. I have seen the most ordinary people do extraordinary things because they gave a damn about what others thought about them. They believed in their ownself more than anybody else did. Your life is not so cheap that it will be ruled by someone elses will and words. We all have a little bit of magic inside us.. but if someone is blind to see that then it is not your fault. If you think people make you feel invisible then think again. A male donkey finds a female donkey very beautiful.. and does not care about a swan.. So maybe you are looking at the donkey and expecting the donkey to like the swan. Well it will not happen.. and you are better alone than to be with the donkey. Before judging your worth think about the people you are looking up to for recognition. Are they really worth that much. Value yourself more than everyone- Be a little selfish- don,t listen to the world instead listen to yourself at times. Don,t give up on life because someone else is making your life miserable with words and acts... pay them back in their own currency. Don,t give up ever... If anyone out there is facing such problems - You are not alone... you are not different- you are not weak- you are not ugly- You are who you are and nobody can be like you. So never give up on the person you are.

"Trust the one... " All those years, I thought it was meant to trust that special/best friend of yours who's been with u always. But it actually really means yourself. Because u were also that person who had been with u all this time. U have to trust u, more than anyone should. Because that will be the start. 💜

Honestly I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and for 16 years, since I was 13, I’ve had really bad suicidal thoughts. I’ve never self harmed because I knew I was strong enough not too, but the pain and the thought hurt, I always felt alone because nobody liked me either because I was too different or too annoying or just an outcast pretty much. I always felt alone and that nobody wanted me, that even the girl I’m about to marry can’t take away all the pain I had from years prior to that, but this song makes me feel better and makes me feel I’m not the only one like myself out there that feels lost and just wants someone to see them, and this song makes me realize that the girl I’m with is right there always and even tho my pain from my past hurts me I need to try my hardest to overlook it because someone atleast noticed me for who I am!

I cry every time I hear this song. I remember hearing it for the first time when I was in my last year of high school, we were filming a movie and we used this as our soundtrack for our production. I remember crying at midnight because I listened to it for the first time and everything just came down crashing on me. I wasn't bullied, no, I was always the person in my family who needed to be strong despite everything. I want to hug my younger self and sing her this song if I could. She needed these words so much. I became a teacher to become the person that kids needed during difficult times while growing up. I hope you see the real meaning of life and love one day.

This song holds a very special place inside my heart for many years and it made sense that this is one of my favorite song and how it built a strong connection with me. I've been diagnosed with Persistent Depressive Disorder and I am Autistic. I like setting boundaries, solitude and isolation. After experiencing autistic burnout, I always create things, write stuff, and sing on my own just to find my own peace and look after my sensory needs. After all the trauma and all the experiences from my social and emotional interactions with other people. I figured out that there's no problem with me. I can finally accept myself. Finally stopped being a people pleaser for the type of people who cannot understand what its like to be in autism spectrum. After many years, I seek help and still in the process of healing. And I am still thankful for the whole process and the people who helped me and still in the process of helping me. Here's to you. Here's to anyone who's ever felt invisible.

I'm still a living mess and much messier than I did before but hey. Cheers to the people who try their best to continue living even if death is like an every day occurence to us. This song is my inspiration. I had finished middle school when it was released. This song literally shook me; it reminded me of 6th grade and how awful my life was. Suddenly I wasn't angry those kids who were terrible to me, I didn't need to be because they weren't going to be in my life anymore and they didn't understand that the things they said and did actually hurt. I guess people never really know that someone is in pain if they think that they're the only ones throwing the "stones", but they weren't. So many people gave me a hard time. Now I'm able to look back without crying and know it's over. Sure my self-esteem is a lot lower than it used to be, but I am stronger. To anyone out there who is going through dark end of the tunnel, just know that there will be light on the other side. My life isn't perfect now, but it's so much better than it used to be. Thank you Hunter Hayes.

Just remember that no matter what happens you'll move past it, suicide isn't an answer.... I know because I almost took my life when I was in 7th grade, my boyfriend was there beside me the whole way to the hospital and then waited for me to wake up after an od. When I saw him in tears it made me realize my mistake and since then I realized that everything that happens, happens for a reason. It may change us and maybe not for the better but it damn sure makes us stronger. Me and Cj have been together for almost two years now and I'm so glad that he found me on my bathroom floor that one afternoon because if he didn't and I died I wouldn't have seen just how much pain is inflicted on the ones we love when we hurt ourselves... Just remember that things WILL get better, even if they get worse before they get better, it will get better. And no matter what they're will be AT LEAST one person there to support you and be there with you, even if you feel alone.

This is literally my comfort song, I came here every time I'm feeling down. My problems weren't just down to being alone, but also about questioning your existence and purpose. I'm in college now but this has continued to help me get through things. I'm sure many others, like me, owed big time to this song. I wonder if Hayes realize this.

This song is on my playlist for almost 2 years. Im an introvert and for me its really hard to get someone who will listen to you. People often calls me borig for being quiet but even how much i tried to be talkative, its really hard because its my nature to observe. Many people misunderstood that im shady but no im not im just waiting for them to approach me and stay by my side. My family is complaining about my personality but what should i do? Even my family complains about my personality. They keep telling me to change myself in order for others to love me, what should i do if i was born like this? What should i do if im introvert as heck and they are out going? What should i do if i prefer to be caged in our house than to go out and socialize? Judgements and pressure keeps going before me.

2014, I just turned 16. I was the nerdy bookworm girl, I was practically invisible at school, and my friends mostly picked on me, or didn't invite me along. This song reasured/reminded me that they weren't everything, and I had family i could count on to be there, especially when my grandma passed the following year. It's been awhile since I heard this again. after everything these past 2 years, How can one not feel insecure and invisible again? I wouldn't say the pain became invisible, but I realize now that although the pain may have shaped my path along the way, it's not what created it. You can have a hard time seeing the path, through the pain, but the only way out is through it. I've been bouncing along my path, while thinking I'd been trudging through a river. It's time I try to see the path, not the pain.

Every time I listen to this song my confidence goes up. I've been abused my entire life. Now I get made fun of because I'm 21 and use a cane to get around because my health has gone down hill a lot. I've got multiple forms of arthritis and bone deformities. My ex husband made fun of me because of my pain. He also hit me and told me that I was worthless. My family on my fathers side has told me that I'm worthless my entire life. I was diagnosed with PTSD in 4th grade. And due to the way my brain works I over think and continuously replay all of the bad things that happened in my life. When I was 12 I started cutting myself. I haven't in many years but sometimes it's hard to fight the urge. This song helps a lot.

I'm at my lowest point. And I've been listening to this song since i was a kid, and now that I'm becoming aware of things, this really hits you different cause you understand it better and you feel the deep meaning in the song.

I listened to this song on repeat for months and years when it first came out. I was in high school and was suffering with depression. Honestly, this song got me through the roughest moments in my life when I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it much longer. It's such a beautiful and meaningful song. Thank you, Hunter for making it. It's made a world of a difference to me.

I have seen and been through horrible things and while I can't relate to this song like I once could it still makes me tear up. Life can be so tough and hard and sad. I am sorry for anyone that feels invisible in the Lord's eyes but I promise he loves you more than we could ever comprehend. This life is temporary and only a second in his eyes but his gift to you and I is eternal life with no suffering.

Anyway it's just fad, really short lasting trend. But let's not forget that there really are rappers worth keeping like EMINEM.

oh my god, this was so good. and i'm really glad that hunter showed not just stereotypical forms of getting hurt like in school but a wide range of them. this is probably my favorite one of hunter's videos; brought so many tears to my eyes

This song is my life... And it isn't popular because of two reasons...1) It's not about drugs, sex or money.2) It's fully relatable and people can clearly hear Hunter Hayes' exact words. No mumbling or repeating of the same words more than once in the same sentence like these rappers nowadays.

Lady Long Legs are this is an amazing song but it is repetitive and that's ok and as far as it not being popular it was on the radio for weeks and have you checked the view count

what a meaningful song: 1) be yourself - you dont have to conform to the norms of the society to fit in 2) if you cant get acceptance here, you can always seek it from others' company 3) we're all human beings; why be harsh and judgemental of others? 4) people grow up and will (hopefully) mature 5) don't give up, life is beautiful. fight for it and you'll reap the happiness in the future
