There was a kid that was a foreign exchange student in my High school a couple years older than me that was Argentinian, and his name was Juan Schmidt. My history teacher asked him how a kid from Argentina would have a name like Schmidt, turns out the kids great grandfather was a Nazi that legitimately escaped to Argentina. Isnt that fucking crazy??

I was working in a city hospital in NYC years ago & there was a patient that looked thoroughly Indian, Zapotec from Oaxaca but his last name was Schwarz. I asked about that & he told me his grandfather came to Mexico from Germany after WW2 & found the most secluded Indian village in the mountains he could find & hid there. Married an Indian woman & started a business. Lived out his life without notice. I've always been curious about that.

He was probably Fing with you for a laugh, why would a Litteral NAZI marry and have children with someone of another race? Their racist? That's like saying a guy in the KKK married a black girl see how stupid that sounds. Here's a little history lesson about Mexico. In the 1860s Mexico was invaded by France. The French brought over a lot of French foreign legion troops, most of them were German. When the war went bad for the French alot of those German legionnaires deserted and when the French pulled out they stayed behind. Many married Mexican women and had families. Ever wonder how Mexican music got the accordion? This is were it came from and it's probably were your little friend came from too, not an escaped Nazi but a Legionnaire who went native.

A guy from my home town, passed away a few years ago. But when I was in high school I did a report on him and interviewed him cuz I know he was in the Army during ww2. He was recruited into the OSS in 1944 and he still had post cards and letters from south america and africe, along with his knifes and 2 pistols. He apparently hunted Nazis for the US and British governments. Came back mid 1950s and started a family.

@@vreee2591 by the same token can you find a photo of him in South America? The best intelligence agencies the world over would’ve been looking for him, and they did. They sent people to investigate claims of hitler sightings for years. Keeping prizes from the battlefield is as old as war itself. Hitlers personal items absolutely would’ve been pillaged and kept by those who were the first to stumble upon him, or by those who were with him when he died 100%. Not to mention they burned the bodies as to not allow the Russians (and others) to use his easily identifiable body as propaganda, and they would’ve done the same with any identifying medals and other items of importance.

@@vreee2591 Sure Hitler would. He was already sick and slowly wasting away and knew the war/Nazi Germany was Lost +There's Nothing to prove otherwise. + Your argument about what was found in the bunker proves nothing and completely discounts the cooperating witnesses statements. + There is 0% proof or on the scene witnesses that say he escaped..etc. Basically... To Hitler (Nazi) Germany was a ship. He was the captain and he was going to go down with it. (He had saw what happened to Mussolini and didn't want that) + Escape (at that time) would've left him open to being captured and being captured by the Soviets he feared more than death...Rightfully.

In the town where I grew up in the 1950s-1960s, there were several German speaking men (and this was not in the midwest where a lot of Germans went in the 19th century), they were all wealthy. But when you asked them about being German, there were 3 answers- "Yes, but I moved here before the war.", "No, I am Swiss.", and "No, I am Austrian." Of course my German linguistic skills were almost non existent so I would not be able to tell Hoch German from Schweiz from Osterreiches anyway. But I always suspected some of them were in reality, Nazis. Also, the money was a bit suspicious, they lived VERY well relative to the jobs they had. Stolen loot from the war? Ongoing funding from supporters of a potential new Reich? I don't know.

it could actually be true my grandmother used to be a maid of high-rank nazis that were accommodated in the south by the Argentinian government after the war, many years later she told us stories about these german men having fancy reunions and galas and that more than once she personally served a german man with a broken Spanish looking very much like Hitler. She then asked who that man was and they told her to never ask anyone again. However, my grandmother once overheard a conversation in German with this mysterious old man, she picked some words and then asked my grandfather (a doctor in the navy) about it. The only thing we know is that my grandfather suddenly became super "defensive" telling my grandmother to quit her job for no reason and almost immediately they moved away to the other side of the country, years later he passed away. When we ask her what did she tell him that made him upset, she says: "I don't know, some random german words and german names I don't remember". And that's the story of why we live in the city we live in... very intriguing

Could never have happened. We are talking about a man who wanted the largest museum ever designed dedicated to him. He couldn't have slipped off into obscurity. It goes against everything we know a about his character. His ego was too big to live out his life in the shadows.
@manictiger
@manictiger 3 жыл бұрын
Depends on how smart he is. It's hard to tell how smart he was, because he was on drugs for half his campaign. But, here's the thing. Really smart people can change on a dime, adapt immediately, should a situation require it. If he was on drugs, then, yes, that ego would have stayed and he'd have got caught. But, at the time, it took a sophisticated lab to make that stuff. So he could have just went through the withdrawals and come to his senses by the time he arrived in Argentina. I'm not saying this is what happened, but I am saying highly unpredictable and erratic things can happen in the blink of an eye. Just look at the world in the last 2 years. Things change stupidly fast now. One minute it's a virus, next it's Biden, then it's Bitcoin, GME, Doge... Things swing on a dime. An intelligent person also swings on a dime, and I suspect that Hitler was smarter than his campaign made him look. And yes, genocidal, too. The most dangerous people aren't imbeciles like Biden, but intelligent sociopaths like Hitler, Stalin and David Chipman (among many others we dare call "leaders").

This man was insane and an idiot. I like to say that we didn't win WWII. He lost it. If someone more competent were in charge, Germany probably would have won.
