I realized after about 6 months of doing detailing, never give discounts. I set my prices, and I stick to them. One thing I do when I go over the car with the customer before I start, I ask if they have any spots that concerns them or bothers them. I do this because that’s the first place they will look when I turn the car back over to them. I had a lady tell me that she hated the dirt between the seats and the console. When she got in the car, that’s the first place she looked, she looked at me and said “perfect “, she never looked at anything else.

Hey I hope that you are well. Think about this. The God of the Bible, the One True God made You and I to worship him, obey Him, and enjoy Him forever. But You and I break His laws daily. You, like me, are not good at all in the eyes of God. ‘There is no one good, no not even one. (Romans3:10) ‘For all have sinned and fall short of The Glory of God’ (Romans 3:23) You have always done wrong in the eyes of God, this is a problem because Psalm 5:5 reads: ‘...You [GOD] hate all who do wrong.’ ‘But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed.’ Rom 5:5 The person who sins is the one who will die. Ezekiel 18:20 All these things and more are counted against us. God is the just judge of the world and one day He will judge you, and you are guilty. He will settle the score for all the wrongs you've done. God is holy meaning He is righteous (morally perfect in thought, word, and deed) It also means He is set apart and infinitely higher than us. God will punish You for all Your sin or wrongdoing in the world, this is because He is Good and Just Judge. This means that if You sin ONCE, God will cast you in hell for eternity. Because He is good and He doesn't turn a blind eye to sin. So how can God forgive you and me of all our sins? But there is good news. 2000 years ago Jesus the Son of God came into this world and lived a perfect life ( He never sinned once) and He died on the cross taking the wrath that we deserve and paid the penalty for the sins we committed. The bible says that if you will repent (confess and forsake your sins) and trust in what Christ did on the cross OUT OF HIS LOVE FOR YOU-(He took the wrath of God against you for your evil deeds and thoughts). Then all your sins will be forgiven and when you die you will be in heaven with God and all who have believed in The Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is the true Gospel of Jesus: Jesus died( Bore the punishment for your evil sins and heart, so that you can be forgiven. He took your special spot in Hell) and on the third day, He rose from the grave(So that you can have true life and His spot next to The only true God.). Verses: ‘All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by ChristJesus.’ Rom3:24; 'Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.' John 3:18 Get right with God today, don't wait. Once you die after that comes the judgment. It's the most important thing you can do. If you repent and trust in what Christ did on the cross for You then you will be born again. Right now you're dead in your sins and you can't see the beauty of Jesus Christ but after you trust in Christ all the things you hate about God like obeying him, serving Him, loving Him and others, reading the bible, praying, and going to church, you will love to do those things because God changes your heart. That's how you know you have been born again and forgiven. Please think long about this, and most importantly please take at least 5 minutes a day to read the Bible. Start in 'Matthew'. An eternity in hell (darkness and a lake of fire the bible describes it, with weeping and gnashing of teeth) or an eternity in the loving arms of God who is infinitely glorious, has infinite knowledge and has infinite power and love to do all that He pleases. You decide. Truth is independent of human conviction, meaning that what you believe does not change the fact that Jesus is your only Hope

I was detailing today this guy walked up to me and asked how much I charge. I told him and he said thats too much. He said I have a guy that does it for $20. I was like ok, you keep that guy. I will never drive to a customer, spend that much time and energy for $20. I would be losing money. People are crazy with their low ball hagling. I domt want a customer like that even if he agreed on my prices. You know it would be a nightmare wanting beyond perfection.

New sub.I really enjoyed your 5 tips video. I'm 63 years old and I was a painting contractor for 36 years. I retired from that in 2012 and currently work at Lowe's. I thoroughly enjoy detailing my own cars and it got me thinking of doing car detailing on the side and carrying it into my retirement. I'm in great health and still pretty darn strong. Sense detailing is extremely low impact it will be a good business for me.

Coming from the Long industry, I know about low Ballers. It’s amazing the number of people that I used to mow that claimed they knew their neighbor. And I’m pretty much done the same thing if the neighbor comes on because you’ve convinced her I’ll give you a little break. However, that was very rare asked you. Arthritis took out both my hips and I got them all completely replaced. So now I’m slowly getting into cleaning cars. Just doing a few neighbors here and there. Your channel is amazing. I’m glad you raise your prices. I use to tell people, I’m not in this for my health. When I would have walk up prospective customers. I just tell him I want my appointment.

Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

The first time I cleaned my show car, I spent 4 hours. After that, a regular cleaning only takes about an hour, because there isn't much to do! If I go to a show in a grass field, I'll take a (fuzzy Welcome) mat so I can wipe the dirt or grass off my shoes before getting in. A paper floor liner is nice, but it's just trash you have to deal with, and the mat can be cleaned each day. The tips he gives are useful even for your own vehicle, so you don't waste time, and get the right job(s) done for that day. You don't have to detail your whole vehicle in one day- you can do yours in parts.
