Hay man, you're killing it! Great info. I started my mobile detailing journey back in January of this year and it has been an amazing experience, the main and only issue I see with my business as being an "official" business registered and licensed. Is that I'm still on my 9-5 job and only offering services and night and weekends, I'm undecided if I should take the risk of getting rid of my 9-5 job but winter is coming, idk how that will affect the business being my first winter. Thank you for reading all that lol

what is there that is inspirational about this? Everyone and their grandma have been setting up detailing businesses and going on youtube because the algo likes it. Think about how much money he has in this and then think how the hell is a 17 year old supposed to get that sort of starting capital. If you figured family then you would be correct. Its great that they are setting him up to succeed by doing that but to make videos to make false claims is ridiculous and tiring. These videos also only ever say revenue - they never actually go into cogs which would eat significantly into this - it is not a high margin business.

Dear sir , congratulations for your great content. Please can i ask? Your ,average, pricing list is around 300 for full detail, and your high ceramic coatings service 1200-1500 on average. To reach 20.000 per month on an average 5-6 days/week 8-10 hours of work Must perform 3-5 full details per working day ,or 15-19 high paid full correction and ceramic coatings on one month. Are those numbers achievable for 1 peeson? Thanks

The van I show off in this video has 2 detailers in it, my employees. We charge about $150/hr for any given service, 8 hours of work per day is $1,200. Work 5 days a week- $6,000. 4 Weeks in a month, $24,000 on a good month. We also have a second van which I am currently working on staffing :)
@Mdetailing Жыл бұрын
@@HudsonArcher_Details i understand sir,thanks for sharing your experience, i am trying to calculate my timing and my performance. For 150/service for 8 hours day, each car is in line behind with the next car ? There is not travel time between customers locations, no scheduled time between each customers,not set up tools time, and repack time after each service? Keep.up the great work,
@HudsonArcher_Details Жыл бұрын
We charge $150 an hour when we are at the customers home, some days are less than that depending on travel time. It’s just an average. We make anywhere from $4,500-$6,000 a week. Many factors can affect our rate, so try not to get discouraged when everything isn’t perfect. You’ll do amazing if you just work hard and shoot for an average of $100-$150/hr :)

Does that ridgid vacum power that 50ft reel hose and if it does how do you like the suction on it? really want to go that route for what i am doing as well
@HudsonArcher_Details Жыл бұрын
yes! the rigid has no problem at all with the 50ft hose. I will say that you sacrifice some suction not using an industrial strength vacuum, however they take up too much space for our little van. the rigid has enough suck for detailing when setup this way, although if suction is your biggest priority I would recommend figuring out how to fit an industrial vacuum inside
@xerxesavis8724 Жыл бұрын
Can you explain the sheet you use for pricing because I’m in the building stage of my detailing business
@HudsonArcher_Details Жыл бұрын
Price sheet simply lays out conditions that could affect the price. We always tell our customers before service that the price estimate they received is a rough estimate, and that price could vary based on condition. My price sheet just adds charges for pet hair ($40), stains ($25), and other things that take extra time. It's all up to you on what you deem necessary to charge extra for. You'll learn as you gain experience how long stains, pet hair, etc take to remove. Once you know how long the average detail should take, you'll know how much to charge for each service and condition :) Base it all around your hourly rate. If you charge $100/hr for details, something that takes an extra 30 minutes of your time should cost $50. Simple math makes a world of difference in a business like ours!

HI, I am 17 too and I just finished my first detail ever (my car to begin with) Im from Serbia and not many people know what detailing is. How do I start getting clients and all that ? also I plan on doing only interior detailing only for start because Im a beginner. What advice do you have for me ?
@HudsonArcher_Details Жыл бұрын
Best advice: Learn exterior as well. Offer 3 services, inside cleaning, outside wash, and a full detail (combines the two) Get customers by knocking on doors and talking to friends and family to start. Save the money you make from these jobs, and then use that to pay someone to help you build a website and optimize it for search. You can also use this money to start ads. The best way to get customers is a concept i call positioning. In a nutshell ask yourself the following questions: 1) How can I get my business in front of as many people as possible? (In person or online) 2) Once people have seen my business online or in person, how can I make it as simple as possible for them to book? By putting yourself in the flow of the marketplace, and making it incredibly easy for them to interact with your company, you will get customers and make money
