Man!! Cow trail doing some good today! That first stemmed point looks like the one I sifted out at the shelter last time. Hope you and Mrs Allison had a happy anniversary man. Maybe we will be able to get out and about one evening soon. Enjoyed the video I was glad to see it pop up!

.I also arrived on Sunday, visiting my mother in La Paz City. 4 days with her. Where I hunt there are hundreds of cow trails and they are the cause of several broken arrowheads. I have never excavated, I always hunt on the surface, when I no longer find them this way I will have to dig in places that I have already detected. That knurled tip is beautiful my friend and looks old. I think you and I will look for points until the last breath of life, you have a lot of ground to dig hahahahahaha. GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND.

Hey Coyote my Friend, glad you had a great visit with your Mother. The old CowTrail always produces. I always surface hunt first then dig. I believe it was a work site, for making and fixing broke tools. Yes I have a life time of diggleft to do. 👍

Beautiful finds Chris. Your pick of the day is toothy and well used. I'm a big fan of the everyday tools. To me they help show the whole picture. Cool shout out for zzzzzzzzzzaper. He's a cool dude and a great guy with a heck of a sense of humor. Many blessings to you and yours Sir.

Hey brother looked like an another oldie with that bevel. Wouldn’t you like to see that place plowed up. Bet you would need a bucket to pick ‘em all up. Good luck to ya

Hey Tiller, thanks for watching. Yeah I was thinking about that I've found about 4 beveled points this weekend. I know what you mean about that spot. Would love to turn it under one day. One neighbor owns it. Another neighbor runs cows on it. Both good men, I just don't want to ask too much of the landowner when he has an agreement wit6h a man that's using his pasture for grazing. I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate me turning his grass under. But like you said I bet it's full of points. Their probably all brokes, but I bet there is plenty of them.👍

Congratulations Chris, the way that point was beveled, kinda like our Bolen Beveled. Was it ground. I like to display all of the points and tools and brokes while I am working on an active site. Hopefully I will get to go soon....Good luck on your next hunt and God Bless yall.....

Thanks for the watch. Yeah I know my videos my not have quality rocks in them. But like I said I'm just documenting my hunts and sharing them with like minded folks, that's all. I keep it all if it's a worked piece, broke or not.👍

Chris i thought you mentioned before that you dont find anything after about a foot down in that area are a different type of soil ?
@chriskeenumhighhopesoutdoors3 ай бұрын
Hey Henry, appreciate the watch. Hope I didn't say anything to confuse you. The one foot depth is it at the CowTrail. You hit a dense packed red layer. I myself, and two other people have dug down to a couple foot before and haven't even turned up a flake. I have found everything from Archaic to Mississippian in that first foot. The place is hard to explain. At the 5:50 mark on the video, I said something like going down about a foot not sure the exact wording. But you are right, the one foot mark is the limit at the CowTrail. Thanks Henry, glad your out there watching👍
