That crossing on twin falls is supa scary coz it's deep and jumps up real quick when there's rain about. We got stuck there when the river came up overnight and the crossing was closed at over 1.2m. We watched a German dude drive it when it was marked as closed at over 1m and that Troopy was almost washed in when there were 4m crocs swimming about it. Amazed by what we just witnessed we asked the German guy why he took such a risk, his response. I only have two weeks holiday. Amazed we pointed out the crocs swimming about and he went pale, even more that his normal shade of pale.

Wow these comments…have any of you ever spent time in croc country, lived near waters where it could be life or death. Do yourselves a favour and google/KZbin crocodile attacks Australia There’s a simple fact that once a croc kills a human it’ll get a taste for blood and the bigger a croc gets the more aggressive it becomes. In other words you all should do some more research

@6:26, not in this, but Australia has some of the best helicopter pilots. When you watch them run animals, it’s incredible how well they’re able to maneuver the helicopter. I’m not sure if it’s a specific type of helicopter that allows them to whip it like that. But regardless, it looks insane, and I can’t recall ever seeing it anywhere else.

Given how often you end up needing to take a longer than ideal shot when under an artificial time constraint like this, I’d go bigger to guarantee the croc doesn’t suffer. I’ve personally seen a 8’10 alligator hit a bit higher than the sweet spot well above and between the eyes with a thirty-thirty, and I would *never* go along with that being the planned weapon again.

@@TOURMANBOB I wouldn't call them useless. Entire ecosystems would collapse if certain species, especially apex predators, disappeared. I live in Florida and it's just common sense that the waters are where crocodiles and alligators live. You could say the waters belong to them. If you don't want to be torn to bits you don't swim anywhere but beaches (not near mangroves) or a pool and don't be stupid along the banks. I do think a crocodile which kills a human should be killed for the protection of other people, but some other idiot is just going to be killed by a different animal. You have to look at it from different viewpoints. A crocodile is going to crocodile.
