Is bulbous honey fungus edible?
Like all Armillaria species, A. gallica is considered edible. Thorough cooking is usually recommended, as the raw mushroom tastes acrid when fresh or undercooked. One author advises to consume only a small portion initially, as some people may experience an upset stomach.
Honey Mushroom · Clusters on hardwoods · Cap has dark central disc and fine hairs or scales · Tough fibrous stem with a ring.
Late fall oyster mushrooms are distinctive, with olive to dark green caps, half-moon shape, and light yellowish-orange gills.
Chanterelles (Smooth, Red, Regular) are a choice wild edible with a sweet taste. The are easily identified by their lack of gills (only small ridges on the underside). The only look a-like is the jack-a-lantern but it has defined gills (it won't kill you, just make you really sick).
Horse mushroom earned their name due to a liking for generously (horse) manured fields. They are just one of many excellent wild mushrooms
Flowery Blewit - Lepista irina
5 to 10 cm across; hemispherical then broadly convex with an undulating margin; smooth; pale beige, becoming pinkish brown towards the centre when moist, drying paler. Perfumed, like flowers.

How do you like to cook Dryad's Saddle? I sometimes pass them up or dry them as soon as I get home, unless I can't find other mushrooms I like more.
