Any reason you prefer the 3006 to a 308? Have you noticed any significant advantage or is it simply personal preference
@EnkeiTenjin5 жыл бұрын
I prefer 30-06 to 308 for hunting purely for ease of use. Big case, long action, and usually cheaper to buy and reload ammo. Heaps handy to put rounds into the gun as everything is bigger. Ammo cost is pretty awesome too, I feel 30-06 is ever so slightly more forgiving than 308. If you don't quite hit your shot exactly where you wanted it, the sheer power will kill the animal almost regardless. That's my experience with pigs anyway.
@HuntingwithStu5 жыл бұрын
As Swipez states below mate. I just like how it sorts out the biggest pigs. I reckon that the 308 is on par with the 30/06 and in fact the 308 is more popular than the 30/06 but I don't know exactly why but I have never warmed to the 308, probs cause everyone has one, not sure.
