Is the active player base still high? I played it in 2022 and it was a blast. With the anticipation of Resistance in Jan 2025 I'm thinking about getting back to 5 to get re-accustomed to the game

@@CamfreyFR It certainly feels like it, especially around the Steam sales. In the early evening I can get back-to-back games with less than a minute in the queue. On off-hours it can take 5-10 minutes.

Your the reason I started playing Sniper Elite and my friend and I went through the entire coop campaign. We had a blast and Ive started trying the invasion mode and its STRESSFUL but so much fun. Thats wild you injured people and had the time of day to reload and execute them. Lately I injure someone and they pull out a tommy gun and spray what feels like hundreds of rounds through cover and terrain and kill me while im trying to finish the kill lol

love your vids, inspired me to finally get to 100 kills over the last few weeks. anybody else get the dudes that have learned if they sit in a certain spot you will always spawn in at the same basic area, and they just wait for you to move before instant kill? seems kind of boring to me, but yeah... i think batman_56 is at least one of the ones that's gotten me three or four times that way. always Occupied Residence, he sits up in the windows of the upper levels of the west side of the chateau. you spawn in at the west end of the orchards, make a move from behind the buildings and blammo.

Always love your uploads. Just returned from 3 week visit to family, so perfect timing with a new upload. Watching this now to get my mindset back into Sniper Elite 5 before I return to gaming after my break. My top 3 maps are probably Wolf Mountain, Spy Academy and Occupied Residence. I have over 500 hours into this game. And after playing invasion mode myself. I’ve come to realize, that if you’re going up against an extremely good Karl player, you have no chance in winning and you’re going to lose no matter what you do. Even when you’re playing authentic difficulty with a map full of German soldiers that are still alive, you’re still going to lose. Because the Karl player will always accurately anticipate where you are going to be, with lightning fast reflexes and will never miss.

3:57 Not a fan of third person multiplayer games for moments exactly like this. You simply abused the third person camera to view him when he could not see you and only took the shot when you could visually verify he was not facing you. This is nothing like being a sniper which requires patience, camouflage and vigilant surveillance of your surroundings. Nothing personal against you, it's the most meta way to play every single third person shooter after all, I just wish a good system for preventing this was present in games like this.
