if you look carefully at 9:30 and onward you'll notice a splintering of rock from the bricks on the left of the slow-mo, the allied sniper took a shot that just barely missed our counter-sniping protagonist

If you look close during the bullet cam, you can see the allied sniper's bullet pass too, look just to the left of the bullet the camera is following. "Karl's" rifle ejects the spent casing right as the bullet hits too. That was one of the most detailed sniper elite slow-mo's I've ever seen haha.

@@leningrad4268 That's just insane bro this alone makes redownload the game again. it looks like Karl quickly dispatched 2 bullets in quick succession with his M1 Carbine. The first one hits the wall, the second just passing by the invader's bullet. I remember being crazy about this axis invasion mode when the game first came out, but the longer wait times kinda killed the vibe for me.

It's honestly my favorite way to play. My hundreds of hours in Splinter Cell prepared me well. Nothing is more satisfying than sneaking through an entire level without killing anybody except for the targets and getting the odd "How?!" from the invaders. It's great.

Scarier is the dude that sneaks the entire thing without killing anybody. Boring and dull is the dude who killed everybody in a level and is simply waiting in the perfect camping spot while they've set up a minefiled with corpses and Teller Mines, because at that point you are just walking right into an obvious and unfair ambush. Bonus if they happen to be a Co-op session with one of the Allied forces in a fucking phone 24/7. You could say that the first one also is an unfair ambush if they managed to sneak past everything without killing, but at the least you can commend the guy's dedication to being stealthy.

I'm so gobsmacked by how oblivious some of these people are. That first guy had zero awareness. When I get invaded, I'm on high alert the whole time, Focusing to keep an eye out for the invader. These people are like "oh, an enemy player. La de da, I'mma just keep going and pretend they aren't here."

I tend to enjoy using the spotter skin because it uses several items to break up the shape of the human face, which means that if you pick a good spot, the player you are hunting might not even register that they’ve seen you.

@@MB93 If you look VERY closely about when the bullet is halfway across the way during the killcam, you can actually see Karl firing a second shot and the bullet passing your bullet, just slightly to the left 9 oclock position of your bullet, its only there for a split second but if you slow down you can clearly see it.

Pretty much, everybody on this game is terrible and play on the easiest difficulty and also leave as soon as you start invading them, which is stupid because you have an option to turn it off

I do this too, although I disguise as a generic infantryman. I move by walking until NPCs start running and I try to walk in a "programmed" pattern to blend in.

I unlocked everything for the Axis Invader, it was a damn fun mode and a great way to spice up the campaign gameplay, especially with coop. The times I've eliminated both players who were in coop was so satisfying.

It might be a pain to record, but it would be interesting to see you play from the prey side. I'm not sure how many people are still invading, but it would be neat to see you deal with invaders as Karl. Maybe you could get subscribers involved as I think there's now an option to invite friends to invade.

Yeh, but the thing is most of the time the players you’re versing aren’t very good at the game so they probably wouldn’t think to look for that plus blending in with npc’s isn’t a good idea considering the fact that people play this game mainly just to get cool snipes cams well I do anyway

My favorite thing as invader is the training yard workbench that lets you use mines. You don't get as many as Karl & Co, but it's enough to get some devious cross-map kills. One time I even baited a duo to my position by killing one then pretending to flee. The other guy took chase right into my trap. It's so hilarious.

picked up SE5 on the summer sale because of your videos. ive played older SEs before but the Axis Invasion is so fun, i haven't even played the campaign, just been hunting people. Probably hurts because i dont have the context of the objectives to help find the players but just on the players behavior ive learned the maps and the rough objective locations. Happy Hunting This being said, anyone else whos getting into the invasion game mode, don't sleep on the Type 100, max that bitches Control stat out and youll hit dingers all day. As for you snipers, start using your secondary weapon if you think youre about to be engaged by a counter sniper. This isn't Call of Duty, and you cant trust a quick scope to end well

I have a suggestion for your next Jager video. What if you try to get as many iron sights long distance kills with the Mosin Nagant? Much like the Finnish "White Death" Sniper who used a Finnish variant of the Mosin? Perhaps even try to blend in to your surroundings with the Ghillie outfit at the same time.

When the game released this is what i'd do. I would just use a standard soldier without a scope though. My record last i remember is 180-6? I think. Standing in the open acting like nothing is going while you can see them tricks them every time.

I always thought that when you play as a German sniper you don’t need a silencer because who are you trying to hide from? Better to use a muzzle break for better control. Idk just a thought. Love the content btw!

Hey, if my mind serves me correctly, you can click the right stick in(I think) and the map will have a ring that forms around it that looks like ( The closer you get to the other player, it forms more into a circle around the map. I hope that made sense im terrible at explaining things 😅

Ive been playing axis invasion for a few days now and two things I totally hate is when they dont play the objective and just start sitting in a building or when they have just killed everyone and just wait for me to come by

I usually just leave the game cause its not my job to push them when theyre supposed to play the objective. the co-op phone spamming on the other hand is tolerable because they know my position anyways
