That, as simple as it is , was a fantastic walk about the CBD shops and your comments I found very interesting. Like yourself I have a fascination for all top end leather goods and some of the brands we don’t get to see here in Melbourne Australia. The power station shopping centre is a brilliant complex & holds great history, the LV trunk is impressive & also a perfect display for the hotel & it’s position next to the stairway. Thanks for putting this video together it is greatly appreciated.

It made me smile when you mentioned the less than ideal edge finishing, I always notice things like that. I was recently at the tartan exhibition at the V&A in Dundee and in the fashion section they had a sporran made by Chanel. Not only did it have raw cut edges, but they hadn’t even been bevelled!

Nice video, Phil! I’ve always wanted to see some of these stores in person but never had the chance when living there because of the lockdown.. I’m appreciating more and more British leather goods, Swaine has such great designs, very classic. If you can, do this sort of video every now and then showing leather goods which you appreciate, it’s nice to see them in a more “real environment” rather than through standard photos. And Merry Christmas!

It has been great exploring the streets, chic shops and hotels of London with you! I especially love it when you stop and tell a little story behind different brands and details of famous bags. I've been to F&M, but not the Power Station, which I'll always associate with the famous Hipgnosis Pink Floyd album. Keep up the good work and Happy New Year! P.s. Please can you hunt down the oldest Hermes leather bags please. And/or saddles. The new stuff has lost its authenticity completely. Hermes is either celebrity "fashion"-ista or school gate Mums gossiping about you know what and who.

I've never seen Frank Clegg in the UK I'm afraid. It comes down to personal taste. FC is more American contemporary and SAB is more traditional British.
