His dogs dont seem like they are "happy dogs" which is very much so unike most that I've interacted with. in my experience, most are always happy as hell and super proud. These guys seem to be afraid of their owner

Some dogs may not like traveling in boats or autos. I know of a friend whose catahoula still gets car sick every time they take the dog hunting.

Love the collars you mob run on your catchdogs, we need more plates like that here in Australia. Near impossible to find or buy plates with that much coverage here, best I've found covers the gut full length but nothing over the shoulders aswell

maybe cook some cracklins.. that comes off the hogs belly.. part fat /part meat.. you boil it first in a deep cast iron pot with just enough water to cover the meat.. once all the water cooks off, add a little oil and let them fry up.

I recall long ago my neighbor used to trap the nutria, and turn them inside out , stretched over some flat board to dry them out.. he used to go clubbing them in the violet canal after they were caught in traps.. was a good supplimental income for him.. wonder why the bottom dropped out of the fur industry.. probably the big push by synthetic fur manufacturers out of china, that bought off politicians,, also the tree huggers that dont think humans have the right to live off the land... maybe you know somebody that can make a nice davy crockett style nutria fur hat and have a drawing when u hit the 100.000 subscriber point,,, @@OutsidetheLevees

IN the sixties in South Terrebonne parish me and my Indian friends had what we called nutria dogs. The skinning house would pay from 50cents to 75 cents for whole nutria. This was before my trapping days. It was nothing to get 50 nutria in a Saturday morning. We all lived on the bayou and we would just drop them off on their pier with our name and pick up money later. The skinning house owners were family members. Our dogs names were Pluto ,Feife (poodle),Lady, Myrtle and Stupid(double as a retriever). All mutts except for the poodle.😅
