Awesome video but have u ever thought about your go pro on your shoulder reflecting light off it but who knows they can see so good or maybe he didn’t see any hens and split the scene!!!!

Hey Dave , I have had that happen to me and it turned out that my clothes were glowing in deer and turkeys. I found out that over time your clothes hold some of the washing detergents and it absorbs the uv rays. Wash your clothes in a uv preventative they should not see you right away. It sure helped me get more opportunities to have a successful hunt.

Young man, Your gun cam flashing light may be reflecting off your stock end. Also, they may be catching the front of your red dot if it has the bright colored front.

With about a year to think about it, did you ever come up with a reason why those birds picked you off so many times last season ? I’ve watched everything you’ve ever put on KZbin and I don’t recall you ever having that issue before, especially at those distances. I know it happens sometimes but I would be annoyed by the amount of times they busted ya too. Love your hunts. I always look forward to each and every one. Please keep them coming. Thanks !

I’m thinking glare of something. I’m using cloth tape on cameras this time to see if that helps.

@pinhotiproject I noticed some glare on some of the gopro's in some of the videos may be part of it and like others said the UV brightners may be affecting as well. Good luck this season!

Birds see in color much better than even the human eyes do.The UV reflecting makes it hard as well.

I understand the UV that turkeys can see much better than humans. I was thinking maybe they're seeing that blue flashing light reflecting off your gun barrel from your tacticam. I don't know, but it's unnatural color brightly flashing. Just a thought. Keep up the great work Mr Owens.

I think not seeing a hen that was suppose to be there is what's spooking them dave,it will at least draw the attention off of you long enough to get a shot,it's worth a try at least.

I would 90 percent say this is the issue. I've experienced this same thing many times. There is an off chance they're not hidden well with the ridge crest behind them, but I'm leaning towards this.
