Cool seeing you guys Friday night. Didn’t get a chance to come over and say hi. I was helping some friends just across the way from y’all. My buddy’s son was running in the 602 LM class. Only his 3rd race, at 23yo, and the most cars he’s been on the track with. He qualified 9th out of 22 cars, but decided to go to the back to just drive and learn and take the car home in one piece. Mission accomplished. And his last 5 laps were faster than the lead car so not too shabby.

Maybe it’s time to step away from supers and go back to 604s for a year or two. Now I know what a Buffalo bills fan felt in the 90s going to Super Bowl after Super Bowl and loosing every time.

This track reminds me of the old Parramatta city raceway. That track was in Sydney Australia, the outer track was actually a paceway for trotting horses. Great track and cars who had trouble could get off onto the horse track and no yellow flag. The new track is smaller and you feel like your too close as the crowd gets covered in dirt. A little scary when sprint cars get hung up on the top of the fence above you. 😮

Joseph that heat race the first start was the wildest I've seen in awhile, than we got to see it again. Well guys you'll have to do what I forced our team to do, I took all of our history notes and came up with one hell of a check list, that broke down into Daily check list Weekly " Monthly " Yearly. Man that little girl saying bye at the end was about adorable!! Future HTF Commentator. That car was absolutely flying on his first laps and it was easy to see he was gonna be tough at that place. You will race the rest of your lives and never see that exact failure ever again. Super cool track and damn sure fast enough, imagine what it was like before they shortened it up from the 5/8th or 3/4 it was originally and everyone said hell no its too fast!!

I was there when the Southern All Stars came to the big track. It was fast. Not much racing but it was a fast racetrack. It was big. Biggest dirt track I’ve ever attended.

I-75 is one of my fav track my family races Asphault but I have good friends who run dirt and I started following about 15 years ago and I watched a lot of races at I-75 watching Dakota knuckles kid quick and Corey hedgecock all the time and 4-11 is a bad ass track Great JOBB Joseph You was killin it big dawg

@pazzocorridore A wide open, high traction race track tends to like all the horses. Particularly on the high side. JJ was getting great traction off the corner on the low side and lower HP could of helped that but with good throttle control. Those top end mid track throttle squeezes could be a 1/10th a second a lap minimum.

I was at the very first race they ever had in like 05 when it was murphy speedway their first race was a southern all star race when they brought the heat. Red farmer was there bill elliott flew in on helicopter an landed behind the pits he had 2 latemodels he drove one both blew up I think Freddy smith won an he was up in age then

Sounds like RR is hitting bottoming stop abruptly which dewedges the car. Has to be a way to either soften/cushion the bottoming or stiffen the compression damping to slow the RR travel.

Those big long pump stacks are a problem waiting to happen. To much weight hanging off the motor. I'd find a way to just have the oil pump on the back and run the fuel and power steering somewhere else. Car looked great. Track looked great. Missed a great opportunity in this one. I think we had a problem last year with kind of the same thing. Well....shoot!

Check out the video at the 30 to go in turn 3 and 4. I think something flew off of Joseph's car. He hit a hole, and something flew out from under the car. Is that when the fuel pump broke? Good job for what time you got to run!

A good crew chief woulda been ridin' 'round on the tailshaft holdin' that thing on! ----- Wait!!! No tunnels under, so -- well, gotta rethink that; I mean, how the hell is a crew chief gonna adjust, spray the tires and get to the rf now-a-days --- esp holdin' that pump in place? I know, I know --- tie-wire, solutions to most problems (rodbusters unite!, Kleins and MarMac wire [cause it has a lil stretch]) ... Car looked damn good guys = FAST! Always the Bestest!!!!
