Mr. Cameron . . . you are doing a great community service. I really would like to hear whether you truly think that zinc and board are the resources needed to develop the infrastructure if Old Harbour Bay. It appears the same thing will recur in another storm condition. I am not questioning your wisdom or the collective mindset, but it would seem that this requires broader input from the local government for real sustainable development to maximize the fishing industry in Old Harbour Bay. This is an opportunity for growth: zinc and board are insufficient for progress. I see way more for Old Harbour Bay, but the people must first see it too. Developing better fishing practices, using technology, monitoring migration habits of the different species of fish are needed to create a high performance fishing industry. I think you are capable of leading this charge for greater government input. I see restaurants, nightlife, better fishing vessels, and educating our fishermen as the way forward. Please push this narrative to the local government, because I cannot understand how the local government could return to zinc and board structures in the 21st century. This is your moment, seize it! Love Shines

This is just drama ... Can a shed stand up to a storm? I was there the day of the hurricane and the day after and the beach was filled with garbage. Very sad how some people treat the place, When they eat or drink they just throw the garbage any where they feel. The Councillor is the one arranging the clean up. There was heavy rains and winds for 2 days straight after the storm that flood out and cause the damage. I was down there the day of the storm and after and there were rubbish on the beach. It is heart breaking how they treat the place throwing garbage and fish guts into the water. Now they are putting on a show to see if they can get some free money All those baby lobster should not even come ashore and those baby fish. Sickening.
