Hi Ash sis I know we got it first it started at 3.30 in the morning I got up when I started hearing the rain very hard and when I watch through the window the trees were swaying and the rain continued until about 1 pm the next day Tobago got it bad also Grenada St Vincent and the Grenadines Barbados Jamaica Cayman Islands every island got it before Mexico and broke down before it reached there take care and enjoy the rest of your vacation have a wonderful day bye.

These resorts were built to withstand a Cat 5 hurricane...I have been going to Cancun when there was only one all-inclusive resort...Club Med...They built their resort on the reef part,which was very smart of them...Most homes in Mexico are built with blocks or solid concrete...and one story,they will suffer floods ,but the people are safe..I have been going to Mexico since in the 70's,was a diving instructor and did 3-4 trips a year,i still visit 1-2 times a year and will be there next month...
