Hi Ash I grind my dhal with food processor to get the perfect texture and smooth make sure the dhal boil not soft must cook little hard so it will be dry also in Guyana we put grind garlic and pepper with geera into the grind dhal mixture also I wrap every roti individual that way it doesn’t dry out and yes I’m cooking roti for so long now and still I can’t get it round I always watch other people make it so perfect but not me

Ash there is an Indian from India flour called “atta multi grain flour” it now classified as a super food. Gal try mek couple roti with it nu. It is suppose to be healthier than wholewheat flour.

That’s the correct measurement love when it come to roti and dhal puri making less is more in the rising agent , when you add too much rising agent that’s when you have a very dry and stiff roti
