This was my first big hurricane since highschool. Dean hit when I was just entering highschool and Ivan happened when I was in the 3rd or 4th grade so I really can't remember much about those. The experience was scary by oddly fascinating to be honest

As a floridian I agree about being outside.....the drinking however I disagree 😂. We have hurricane parties, of course no one is getting shit faced but Having a few drinks can help with the nerves and helps ppl sleep. I will usually stay up all night myself thru the storms since I got kids and I watch/listen for hurricanes. But I've got friends who come stay since they live in trailers.

Listen..having been hit with a Cat 5 hurricane 7 years ago, y'all are pretty brave to be outside to get video footage. Just listening to that howling wind whole night 'til morning, something that nobody on this island wants to experience any time soon. The next day will tell the tale. Best wishes

@@tina-mariecrocker5687 I'm from barbados it recently passed us we had very very high winds which took a few roofs and destroyed about two fast food restaurants we had flooding and went one day without water and the other day without electricity and a few fires as well but thankfully no serious damage was done to us or the island waves was 20 to 50 feet high and niggas was still on the Beaches watching to ocean become deadly and beautiful at the same time lol some ppl were even roasting bread fruits
