I'm curious guys. When did you buy these? This is end of season, so typically the best time to buy. So I assume you are buying several of these to fix up through the winter and sell next spring? Am I off base here?

Pre spray it with Salt Away spray. Get it at a marine store. It dissolves the salt so you can pressure wash it off

I am watiing to hear from my insurance company's claims department. My 2023 Icon i40 golf cart got 20" of salt water flood damage in Hurricane Milton. It looks like new but people say it will be totaled. Salt water is the kiss of death and it ruins wiring and anything it comes in contact with. You may get these things back on the road ut if it is salt water, I pity the fool who gets it and faces corroding and components full of problems for the rest of its life.

Being from the UK and never lived through a hurricane. The question i am going to ask might seem dumb to you but considering that their was plenty of warnings about the storm that flloded these vehicles would it not have been possible for these vehicles to be moved out of harms way?

Here's the problem. First is knowing where & when storm is going to hit. Keep in mind everything related is a guess. Second where to move items since you are trying to avoid wind, debris & water damage. Flooding issue is much harder to predict. You know what to say about location. Location is everything!

salt water is pretty usefull. by the time they hit auction there is evidence which have been comprimosed

If the water damage I'd fresh water 💧 it's better you can bring it back to life but if it's salt water it's a different story
