I'm very sorry if this sounds stupid to some of you on here. But I feel very very sad and scared for the homeless dogs/cats living on the streets in these Florida cities. They have no place to go to safety get out of the strong wind and flooding. Nor do they have anyone to help them. I'm praying for everyone in this state to be safe. But more so praying for the poor homeless animals that have no one to help nor care for them, and are litterly dying by drowning.

So very brave of you to have filmed this. Went out for a short moment to cut the screens on the pool deck and was nearly blown into the pool. It was terrifying. However cutting the screens saved the cage which was being blown over by the winds. I figured if the wind had a larger area to blow through it would save the cage. Luckily it worked BUT going out there in those winds with a shart knife being blown back at me was horrifying. Your very brave. Thank you for these images.

I was thinking,"wait where is the eye that we are supposed to get"? Could have really used the eye or some sort of a break. Instead we got a firm talking to the night before and morning of, then a hands slap early that morning thinking hmmm ouch. Then a hard spanking as the day progressed to a full on nightmarish beating for hours. Couldn't believe how long it was lasting, how much worse it was getting and we just had to sit there and watch everything crumble around us. AND I was in a "hurricane proofed" house. Windows that wouldnt shatter, a concrete safe room etc and though the windows did not shatter they remained in place as we watched through that clear unbroken glass as neighbors roofs blew off, sheds took to the air, fences flew like huge stakes into everything and crocodiles took to the streets that were no where to be seen in the flooding all around us. Terrifying. Will never be able to forget it. Never be able to get over it and so many souls that will never be able to recover from it. It's been 2 months and it's still a war zone. So much debris on the side of the roads. So many homes gutted with allll their belongings now outside. So many homeless and so many stray animals. I'm guessing many of these cats were strays to begin with but can no longer find their original home. Have 6 new ones around our home now to feed. Well till the next hurricane. Stay safe everyone and my prayers to all still trying to recover. Wish I could help in some way.

Trust me, buildings, homes and LIVES we're RIPPED APART. MY family is just ONE of THOUSANDS that were RIPPED apart. Sorry that you didn't get to view the pain in more detail. Sorry but the comment frustrated me. Probably took it the wrong way and for that I am sorry. Scientists and engineers should be working on ways to stop these in their track. I understand satellites can detect an eye forming when its about 1/4 of a mile across. Small enough to have one of the weaker walls blown apart with munitions or microwave technology. It's time we try to control this terrible life threatening hazard.
