In 10/24, the House passed a bill to add funding to FEMA's budget with a vote of 341-82. All 82 "NO" votes came from Republicans. The bill did not include an additional $10B for FEMA's $3B deficit.

It is a stopgap spending bill to fund the government through December 20, which includes provisions for FEMA This bill allocated $20 billion to FEMA's disaster relief fund to help cover ongoing and future recovery efforts, especially in light of major disasters such as Hurricane Helene. The bill also allows FEMA to use funds originally earmarked for non-disaster purposes, expanding their flexibility in responding to emergencies. Those who voted no are just the crazy maga buffoons who believe the lies about FEMA running out of money due to it being used on immigrants which is a confirmed lie

We still need linemen here too! Burney Mountain/Cane Creek. We were hit hard. No water or power for days now. It's getting harder with each day!

It seems to me they could still be removing debris for several hours.

Don't most people have have bug-out bags or emergency supply bag for each family member? If not, you should have especially if you live in a flood, hurricane, tornado, fire, earthquake, volcano area, excessive heat, blizzards, Plan ahead.
