It’s a weird feeling to be so worried about someone you’ve never met and has no idea you even exist. Kenan and the kamp have become a part of my life over the years with these videos. I truly hope him, his family, and all the animals make it through this safely and the damage isn’t too severe because we’d ALL be devastated.

Fr I've been watching since I was a teenager and for some reason Kenan and his fam was the first thing I thought of when I saw the news on this hurricane. Dudes got so much reptiles too. Hopefully they all make it through with minor damage

I heard Cat 6 😬 Clarification edit: that was meant to be "cat 6" in quotes, as in, it was a really bad Cat 5. Good to see it's getting lower in scale as it gets closer to land

As of this morning it has weakened back into a Cat 4, and is expected to be down to a Cat 3 by the time it reaches the coast. It will of course still be very dangerous for the gulf coast, and for a place like Jupiter we may some tropical storm force gusts, but it will be mostly the continued flooding mentioned that will be the primary concern.

My brother down there said they told the people who refused to leave the areas under mandatory evacuation to write their social security numbers in magic marker on their arms & legs so their bodies can be identified during Helene. This one’s expected to be even more powerful! Just insane.
