Hurricane Milton barreled into the Atlantic Ocean on Thursday after plowing across Florida, pounding cities with ferocious winds and rain, and whipping up a barrage of tornadoes. It caused at least four deaths and compounded the misery wrought by Helene while sparing Tampa a direct hit.

Look, I probably find Biden being in that office just as ridiculous as you do. However, just because I don’t like someone doesn’t mean I’ll look for any excuse to criticize them. Helene hit FL on 26 September, then it moved up to TN and NC by 27 September. It did not start dissipating until 28 thru 29 September. Biden met up with Gov Cooper three days later on 2 Oct to survey the area. Maybe three days is too much also…but it ain’t a week. Even if you count from when it initially landed in FL (which would be irrelevant to a NC visit anyway) it’s still shy of a week.

Well, the first thing we should address is how there couldve been more funding if a certain bill wasnt turned down by a second side. But the second thing we need to address is that its only a starting sum for people to live before they can get a stable life back together - a full $750 is for whole families that need lots of food and water.
