I am about 60 miles north of Sarasota and this has been strongest winds I think we have ever had from a hurricane in this area maybe since the 1921 hurricane? Solid 80+ mph gust for hours. Way worse than a few weeks ago. Hope those in Sarasota are all ok.

Same here. I live in Bradenton. Lived here for decades. That was by far the strongest winds I’ve seen in a hurricane. Went on for hours to. Was getting frustrated it wouldn’t stop! It was crazy!

I prayed Milton would weaken.. Florida has been devastated already by Helene I don't think they can handle Cat 5 Milton.. That's the only help I can guarantee to prevent a terrible outcome.. It`s been known from Helene 2 weeks ago that electric cars caused 2 house fires from shorted out batteries when water flooded the garages.Electric vehicles should not be left where flooding is a possible outcome.
