After spending time with 4/5 of our kids and their families we decided to head out to Bishop Bay for Christmas 🎄 The forecast didnt look that great but we still take the chance! It’s funny but as we get older we find it peaceful to escape town lol. Just be on the ocean enjoying the whales and birds. It’s peaceful and quiet. Except for a whining boat dog sometimes! Haha. I’d love for Ranger to learn how to be a log watch dog!

So next time it's rollie at the dock will you consider anchoring out with the fish in the water? My assumption is that would be a better nights sleep.

Anchoring would have been less rolling esp if our bow was facing the waves. Where on the dock we take the waves on the side and the ropes are pulling tight. 95% of the time we do anchor. We just thought it would be so nice to dock to go to the hot tub whenever we wanted without using the dinghy lol. 😂
