Well you're utilizing that machine to the fullest that's great I'm going to have to say that's good for you it's obvious that you do more with that machine than just doing leaf jobs since you said it was an all year around type of machine so the money was well worth it well invested congrats

Man, let me tell you something! many humans by sinful nature hate to see others acquire and succeed. I am very happy for you! You were able to afford that thing and that is awesome. There is no wrong way to use that blower. It will blow whichever way you aim it! May God bless your soul! Live long and prosper my friend

I wondered about the line, I have seen the new Billy Goat Z3000 and thought a manufacturer was making these for multiple companies. So Billy Goat bought the company and now owns this type of machine, good to know. I'm just a regular home owner who has 50ft. Plus tall oaks & maple trees. I do have a drop off area on my property where I blow the leaves with a backpack blower and a 5hp Billy Goat forced blower, also own a Trac Vac trailer leaf collection system. Even with all my equipment, it is a job which takes hours by myself every week to say the least. I can really see the advantages of owning a machine like yours. That one machine is so powerful, I can see myself only using the backpack blower to clear the beds then finishing with the ride on blower to push all my leaves across one acre to the drop off wet or dry . I wouldn't even need to deal with the Trac Vac trailer system any more, I could save myself a ton of time & fatigue. Unbelievable, thanks for your post seeing is believing.

I have to agree this thing is a game changer. I'm solo and it is like having 1-2 guys with you. I cleanup yards faster with this machine than I did with 2 guys with backpacks and a walk behind blower. This isnt just for fall. I use it all season. I blow a commercial lot in minutes rather than an hour. I can't rave to much about this machine. Well worth the money.

Equipment is the way to go. You pay for the machine once. You never get the employees paid off. Replace 2 guys at $10 or $12 an hour. Replace the guy that slows down or sits. Then call outs. Priceless!!!!!! I'm used to being in your shoes. Haters will talk.

Whoa, watch out for the satellite dish ! Look at that log go flying ! Seriously this thing is the cats meow. You could never do that with backpack blowers. Can you ride a billy goat all day? Nope. If you guys are kicking out 10 grand for mowers, which we all are, than you can recognize the value in this tornado leaf blower. I've been looking into a 2500-3000 self propelled blower by little wonder as it's pointless to push one all week long. But this thing is now on my radar. This is my second year in business and next year with a full boat of work this will come in real handy. Already I am booked till the end of November this year. Next year will be crazy busy. I love these lawns where you can blow into the woods and this is the machine for that or getting them to the curb. 10 grand = Lots of money earned, just like your 10 grand mower.

They also make a hose kit to load on a truck. You simply take the guard off the front, put on a inlet hose and exhaust hose.

I thing is awesome. If you have six guys with br 700. That is $4000 almost backpack blowers. The hurricane cost 10,000 you say. It’s only a difference of $6000. Well when you start putting in the labor of those six guys. You Easley will pay more than $6000 and labored of those guys, Through the season. The hurricane doesn’t call in sick. The time you guy save in the regular season. 1 to 2 hours A today You save. At least one extra count a day. If you work five days at least five extra account a week that alone justifies the purchase.
@harolddenton60316 жыл бұрын
David Elder amen David. The long term cost savings in labor fees alone and having to replace expensive $550 to $600.00 back pack blowers every couple of years justifies the price of this hurricane ride on leaf blower. That machine will last you a good 10 years or more. So over a Decades period of time you will save lots of capital not buying so many backpack blowers and having to pay out way too much in labor fees.

It's a great machine, but we are blowing head gaskets every 50 to 90 hours. Mechanics at dealer say leaf getting sucked in cooling covers and blocking air cooling finns causing head gaskets to blow. Went through 6 heads and gaskets under warranty. They say there is no fix. I have x3. They say x3 has same issues
@samcollins19925 жыл бұрын
I think I'd rather stick to our 3 man crews with EBZ8500s. It might be 3 times more powerful, but it's 10 times less maneuverable. We blow rows of leaves really quickly and then push the whole row with our walk behind out to the street to our Giant Vac. I'm always looking to improve efficiency in our processes, but I don't think this fancy machine would win.
@ragingbullhcwf5 жыл бұрын
Amen! Not every yard is an open, flat piece of property where you can "surf" up and down the lawn and blow leaves into the woods. You need maneuverability and controlled airflow. More CFM's is not always the answer. Overblowing can do more harm than good especially with gravel, flowerbeds and ornamentals. Then you start damaging flowerpots, decorations, fences, etc...
@michaelbrown82445 жыл бұрын
You have to understand it wasn’t designed for small jobs, you can outperform it on small yards cause smaller equipment is more efficient. But in big areas where it was designed for you can’t touch it. It’s an expensive piece of equipment but if you have big jobs it will pay for itself. You can hire 4-5 guys and pay all that overhead with workman’s comp, But in the long run the equipment will pay off vs hired hands with a lot less headaches.
@ragingbullhcwf5 жыл бұрын
@@@michaelbrown8244 100% correct! If you have long-term contracts with big commercial accounts like shopping plazas, apartment complexes, HOA/condo developments, etc..., I would definitely purchase one. If you only have a handful of residential accounts that can drop you at any time, that investment is a gamble. I stick with doing smaller properties and refer larger ones to other landscapers who have the right equipment and they send me smaller ones.

I was thinking the same, weight of the machine on 2 small tires, plus operator basically rolling in its own track multiple times cause the leaves are so wet, better off buying the best cyclone type machine that spreads the weight, plus no tracking same path, much better for the health of the lawn. It is awesome machine, for multiple uses, just not for wet leaves.

Oh, if that machine could suck up the leaves, mulch them and send them to a tow behind box collector, that would be awesome, As it is now, you still have to pick up the leaves unless they can be blown to a location where they can be left behind. But I have to say that is an expensive leaf blower for what it does but it sure moves a lot of air.

Not necessarily. If you’ve already got the people, and need to keep them busy, then they need to be out bringing in money. You might not necessarily NEED them for the leaf stuff if they can be replaced with equipment, but when it comes time to have help for the stuff you cant replace them on, they needed to be busy for the interim.
