How bad was it?

@@CRiver396 scary af. My parents didn’t board up the back patio door because they thought it was gonna miss us. We thought the door was going to fly off. And it wasn’t even a category 5 like Katrina

I was in Fort Lauderdale area but my mother worked at Broward Medical Center, so we took shelter there as she worked because she didn’t want us in our house during this powerful storm. I was like 9 or 10 years old when this hit.

This was a very powerful storm. The winds did a lot of damage all over south Florida. The winds were much stronger than most ppl expected! I was in boca and there was quite a bit of damage worse than any other hurricane I’ve been in. The eye Wall was very intense

Was in a mobile home by 441 Hillsboro a couple streets North, that my ex girl lived. Top of the roof completely peel open to one side like a can. Evacuated before though because there were 2 windows that blown shattered,And the winds were really tugging on the truck I had at the time, as we fled. Then I remembered the cold front afterwards .

Born in Homestead, raised in Hollywood and this was the worst storm I ever went through. Tore my front shutters off with one getting trapped between the house and my truck, beating it thru the whole storm, the other other one busted out my front window, my yard was shredded and no power for 3 weeks

We're in Deerfield Beach and rode it out. Seemed to pass within several hours versus Irma just creeping by. I had more damage from Irma than we did from Wilma.
