some added comments...first, thanks for the wonderful video...was as easy as your video...great tip wrapping the shifter, don't know if I'da been smart enough to do that...one possible tip for future installers, I used a much smaller zip tie than what they provided. there is not alot of clearance when you get to that part and leaving room for the set screw...I also found that the zip tie they provided had a large "head" for lack of a better term and when I test fitted it you could see the head pushing on the leather boot...I also placed the zip tie "head" straight forward towards the dash as the leather boot is reinforced front and rear where they are stitched together...anyone doing this mod will see what I mean when you go to install...thanks Woodchuck for such a great straightforward video...!!!

Absolutely correct. I just installed this shifter in my Charger Hellcat and the zip-tie was a bit difficult to deal with. I probably didn't get it into the notch at the bottom. And the "head" is protruding out the back right side. I'll probably be redoing this part soon to take care of that, with a smaller tie. At least replacing the zip-tie won't be too much of a hassle.

5x56mm kinda like people that do cat-back exhaust systems and weld the active exhaust valves to the chassis frame so it doesn't throw an engine code. If you delete those without programming the check engine light comes on because it thinks they're not working.

That's nice and looks like it's made of quality. l really like the Barton as well, and is also a very solid looking shifter. Saw both of those when I was searching for a replacement for the one on my Challenger, but ended up getting one from the mr. Norm's online store made of carbon fiber n nickel and looks like the old six pak pistol grips

did you just touch the set screw to the actuator and move the handle up and down to find the hole to tighten fully??? looks bad ass btw

For the price of these I think should at least fab up some kind of bypass plug for the oem shifter. As soon as i saw that the stock one is just tucked away I said to myself no thanks. Might not bother most but the thought of that would make me crazy. Id rather be able to remove it entirely. It really cant be rocket science I think they are just cheap, and tbh Id pay a little extra considering the R&D for a bypass.
