Do you have a video on Mr Gasket V Gate rebuild? I have one and pulled the bolt to put longer ones in. It came apart and I can’t figure out reassembly.

What would you do to IMPROVE the Hurst pistol-grip shifter mechanism in an A833, 4-speed, 1972 440 Plymouth Road Runner, in order to obtain crisp, solid, smooth, efficient shifting! In other words, how would YOU want it?!? Thanks!

The handle is long enough that it multiplies any slop in the linkage. New metal bushings and rebuild the shifter. If you aren’t keeping the stock shifter the sky is the limit!

dont let stainless get hot while drilling or machining. i tig weld at work, if i was burning rod at home i would hold it with pliers or melt the short piece to a new piece. im cheap
