Here's my advice for someone in this situation: Get rid of the notion that this is the only successful idea you'll ever create. Be willing to completely waste this idea and cut your losses. And when you reach that point, it might surprisingly work out. Don't take a loss on it, take a win for having had such a great idea and go on to producing the next one.

When Kevin says "he don't care!" He sounds cold and heartless, you can try to find somebody that might be able to help them , but don't say "you don't care". Some people commit suicide because they feel that they cannot financially get out of debt and the only way to solve all their stress and headache is to kill themself. Those kind words can cause a dominoe affect.
@berniegatchalian2630 Жыл бұрын
Kevin is truly heartless. All he care about is just making money. He said that so many times in so many ways. What shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul. just a bad idea for the way it's put on the wall. the magnet thing is not too bad if you can sell it. If the way to use the product was better and the sales & business manager was solid it could work but not like this.

Rough story but they’re a basically asking for a licensing deal without asking for one. They wanted the dragons to buy a chunk of the business but do all the work. You don’t get it go both ways. Either you make the business work yourselves or you sell the idea/intellectual property and take your nickel. The only value they’ve brought to the table is the idea - they have zero ability to execute. Also I don’t think this ever went anywhere and it’s likely due to the fact that eventually all those buyers over 15 years lose interest. Shame of it is that they probably had a very successful business and they lost it all on a silly dream. And near the end it just got sad - buddy literally just said I’m a moron and please bail me out and nearly cried. But Kevin is right - their emotional involvement blinded them in their pursuit of the idea.
