$70,000 for 3 percent of a business that's lost $350,000 over the last two years and expects to lose another $250,000 this year before potentially breaking even next year. What a bargain.

This just seems like a case of someone who is passionate and has an idea who has thrown everything at it and believes if you throw everything at it and pour a ton of money into it; it will make it. When in reality she's not done her research and has adventured down a very very long path which leads to nowhere and she probably now feels she's at the point of no return. I'm honestly worried for her. I feel she's going to have to find a way to strip this all down, take a ton of loses on the chin and find a spot where it ticks over and is a modest income for her or find a buyer and run a mile. I'd be tempted to see if the current share holders want the rest of the stakes in the business for cheap and reduce some damage limitation.

Can't get my head around spending so much money on clothes. Maybe if you buy a really nice expensive suit for special occasions, or if you work in a really high end job then yeah I can see why you would spend the money on a really nice tailored suit, but for the average joe it just isn't worth it.

I think it’s one of derision - she can’t fathom why these savvy investors can’t see the huge potential of her (massively failing) business. Theo was spot on when he said he bets she didn’t hear a word of what they told her. Delusion and reckless with other peoples money.

I think the Dragons are wrong. Saying you can just go to the dry cleaners in the 21st century is dumb, why have Deliveroo when i can just walk around to the local takeaway shop?

I mean we do order groceries online even though we could just go to the market and buy some ourselves, or like order stuff frm amazon which we can get in our nearby shops. This is how it is and i think getting our clothes fixed online is a g8 idea.... Like i get it the numbers are not impressive at all but the idea is not bad
@2A.Freedom
@2A.Freedom Жыл бұрын
Right, but you're ordering from established local companies who have been in business for decades. If you were to take an already established seamstress/alterations business and offer online ordering and local pickup/delivery services, that might work. But to send your clothes to a business in another state and have them send them back, seems like a waste of time and money.
