35:03 I remember as a kid in 1999/2000 my brother & dad saying the sea anemones here could sting you but they must have been talking about real ones (which I already knew) as when I got here myself on PSP in 2009 the in-game ones do nothing & are just scenery.

You can also shotgun the skeletons off a ledge if theyre close to a drop. They break as they hit the ground. Pretty cool little trick.

I still remember that some years ago, while replaying the game, the scene at 40:31 went a bit different for me. Basically one of the two skeletons...uhm...how can I say? Miscalculated the jump and, well...fell to his death and crumbled on the floor 😂 I always think of that moment and smile whenever I get to that part. Loving the gameplay and you guys are great! Never stop being amazing. Hugs from Italy ❤ P.s. I would like to add: a way to make so that the skeletons don't disturb you anymore, would be to shoot them in the head with a normal dart. Tricky but at least they won't bother you anymore. Or just shoot them with an explosive dart, that surely works to annihilate them from existence!

Another Italian here - well I had the opposite luck, because I remember once I found a skeleton waiting for me on the hills of the coast right as I reached the area for the first time, rather than staying hidden and spawning later! So scary 😂

I always remember that you can blast the skeletons off the ledges with a shotgun and smash them to pieces, but for some reason I kept forgetting I could just blow them up too!

Chris, for the skeletons, besides using the explosive crossbow ammo, you can also use the shotgun to shoot them off the ledge/ down into a pit/into the water. When they're jumping across the ledges, just make sure to shoot while they're in mid-air. Maybe next time Alfredo can also try that strategy :).

I only discovered the explosion thing with skeletons on my most recent playthrough. Before that I had to use the slow way (shotgunning them off a ledge).

There's also the option of using the crossbow with lasersight to shoot off their head (so they can't see you) or shoot off their arms (so they have nothing to attack you with). Probably the slowest option unless you're a very good shot :D

I always thought explosive darts were pretty much the only way to kill those skeletons! I even restarted the game once cause I had used a few of them in some previous level and didn't have a sufficient amounts for all the skellies 😂

Ha, the way Alfredo considered taking the key with the hook obvious, I wonder if herhaps other not-so-clear puzzles will actually be super simple to him? Like the sprinkler in Cairo :D Well, congrats on entering the Catacombs! I kinda feel the Alexiandria area is the most complicated (more than Cairo or Giza), but perhaps you'll prove me wrong in the next episode(s) :)

The part where you have to take the hook from the wall had me lost and stuck in this set of levels for months back then ! Horrible. So counter-intuitive. I would go back and forth endlessly, between the coastal ruins, the catacombs, Poseido's temple etc, to no avail.

100% - one of those tiny little 'not even remotely obvious' points of the game that could be helped slightly by, well, anything? Possibly a diagram of a stick with a hook that Lara sees on the floor. A cutscene of Lara saying she can't reach and needs something to 'hook it' with. Anything.

Did you know if you use your lasersight you can zoom in and shoot the skeleton dudes in the head and it makes them run around like crazy it's actually pretty funny 😂

27:47 I thought the same as a kid when I first saw this part in 1999/2000 and was disappointed it just led to the catacombs. Especially as the catacombs is one of the worst most boring levels in the game.

Alexandria is where the exploration and back and forth between levels gets really complex and I love it so much. Loved the Egyptian Adventure struggles lmao, such a wacky lil area. I'm mad you didn't let Alfredo struggle for at least a bit with the scope on the target room before telling him about the explosive trick 😒 lol another great vid.

As the series goes on I do give him more time to figure it out, but it always has to be a balance - ultimately to keep levels within around 1h - but also due to file sizes on my old pc (you can hear the fans go mad a lot!) - and also because I don’t want viewers to be bored waiting for him to solve it for too long! 🙈
