I mowed with this tractor yesterday and it’s a great mower. My grandpa owns it.

lawn mower is ok, but the MTD's motor belt will jump out of track on the variable speed pulley..its located beneath fender seat area...you have to remove fender pan to get to it......other than that, good for normal mowing......also you can wire a switch to shut off the head lights....knock out plug under steering wheel for switch....also, unplug switch underneath mower on left side (mower shuts off in reverse when blades are engaged)VIDEO POSTED BELOW ON NEXT REPLY ..........keep all linkages lubricated..they tend to squeek in dusty enviroments....just a few things to keep in mind about this mower.........DONT SWEAT ANYTHING ABOUT THE MAINTAINENCE, PLENTY OF VIDEOS TO HELP YA ON THESE MOWERS......LOL

Is there a site where I can download an Operating Manual for a Huskee Lawn Tractor? I bought it used without it.

I was wondering if anybody reading who has one of these "7 speed shift on the go" MTD / Huskee / Troy-Bilt models with this 2 belt CVT system can say: How well is it holding up ? Does it tolerate moderate towing ? How frequent are belt changes needed ? Can you compare to Hydrostatic or other CVT lawn tractor Transmission systems? Thanks a ton for any input. I'm deciding which tractor & drive system to buy now.

Don't buy a mower like this one it won't hold up you can buy a used one for a lot less money and it will hold up a lot longer for $1200 i just purchased a Ferris commercial zero turn and its been a great mower i can recommend Kohler Command series engines they will last
