Looking at getting the Husky cordless ratchet? How about the Milwaukee ratchet from the M12 line up? Both seem to be great ratchets, I wish I had more long term use with the Husky tool but I think it will hold up fine.

Husky is 230 RPMs and the Milwaukee is 250 RPMs. So the Milwaukee is a little bit faster.

I don't care much about torque. I think the Husky might work for me. I already have he Milwaukee and also a Makita. I want to buy the Husky but not sure if Home Depot carries it. The battery being inside the tool is a plus for me also. I'm really excited about this little cordless ratchet.

I bought one of the husky ratchets probably a couple of years ago and am quite impressed with it. It has held up really good and so handy. The battery hasn't given me any problems so far and holds a charge pretty good. Mine did come with a pretty good set of sockets too when I bought it. For the money I would recommend it!

Great video man, keep it up! I got a slightly different model milwaukee about 6 months ago, and I really like it. I was on the fence of how useful one could be by just looking at the size difference between it and a regular ratchet. But man it will surprise you, I've had this thing stuffed into a dashboard where I couldn't see and still able to get bolts out fast

I got the huskey as I started as a diesel mecanic nov 17th. Used it hard for 2 weeks and love it but the anvil broke. So I took it back and got a milwalkee for cristmass so well see how it holds up. As for battery it would almost make 2 8hr days of hard use but if you charge every night I couldn't kill it taking apart the top end of the same 6.0 power stroke 3 times. So a none issue imo im wondering in practice if the smaller body or longer length will make a difference under the hood.

just bought the husky and mine slips when it reaches its torque limit as in the head will keep toggling back and forth but no more spinning of the socket. I haven’t checked what it’s maxing it’s torque at but seems like mine might be defective. I pulled the snap ring out and inspected the internals and nothing is broken or missing so, maybe an insufficient spring strength? After watching some videos on air ratchets it looks like the husky has the exact same head construction as a typical air ratchet so maybe a good thing if the head ever needs replacement long term I might be able to just fit one from an air ratchet to it. The con is that it doesn’t have model specific replacement parts availability at all like the Milwaukee does. So anything else on it failing will render it not easily repairable. I hope I don’t have to return the one I have but if it is defective I may end up doing so and wait until the Milwaukee hopefully goes on sale later this year. I just do little diy stuff at home husky should be enough for my needs as long as it’s not defective.

On the contrary that Milwaukee is (much)lighter duty. There’s a plastic tang that rotates the gearhead which does not allow for manual “breaking” force.... the husky is rated for 150 ft lbs of manual force..... I’m on my second Milwaukee, I also have the newer fat head version. Hard to recommend it with a plastic tang but I use it for speed since I use a torque wrench anyway.

The Milwaukee batteries are prone for breaking the cover when dropped. They need a rubberized more one piece design instead of a clip on hard plastic. I’ve broke two from normal drops. Luckily I’ve been able to force them back in place enough I can still use them but they flip around. The husky has screws so you might able to replace it if it goes bad. Sucks if it runs dead you can’t just swap one out though.

I own both . I thought husky was a “Walmart” brand from the jump as being a new mechanic. But yes mil walks is obviously upper in name and a bit stronger .wont get to into it but husky just by its name . Might be a lil bit more bulky (big women ) lol but aye I believe I can drive my car over it . Well where Walky I throw other pounds of tools ontop and plastics are getting bent and outa shape . True on battery life tho . But I’m not the one that’s actually putting those good hours on the tool but husky makes it last enough throughout day or few depending. Thanks for the review everyone has their options on tools. Love the vid brotha

Thank's a bunch for the comment. I think the Husky might be a little more robust, I think you're onto something there for sure. Both are good. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

The Milwaukee gets slower as battery power drops. She. That battery gets down to 1 you can definitely feel the difference. Husky probably does too.

I go though a 2ah near every day with my Milwaukee fuel. I do have the 4ah and the 6ah option but for my uses I prefer the smaller 2ah batteries. No removable battery is a deal breaker for me on the husky.

Definitely makes sense. The 2ah are slimmer and probably make getting the job done easier.

I rewatched the “torque test” section of the video to see what your talking about as I like to try to make sure I’m producing decent content and litterally have no idea what could be making you think that. I hold the buttons down on both tools for just about the same amount of time while they try to break the bolt loose. I literally gave situations where you’d want to buy either one at the end of the video. You’re literally the first person to complain about that in this video that I can remember in two years.
