Rebuilding mine now. But you did not show how to remove the choke and kill switch with the primer bulb assembly. I cant get mine off? Whats the secret?

It did but it only idles. Am still working on it. I think it is just a fuel issue now. Has a ton of compression. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the video. I have the same chainsaw and need to replace the oil tank which requires the full break down like you did. If you get it running good I'd like to know what the fuel issue is.

Mike. Great video. Like you I usually just dive right in. I think my 450 has an air leak problem at the crank so will do a tear down like yours. Did you have a link to the 450 shop manual? I didn’t see it in the description.

Nah just google it. I think the husqvarna website had some good links to service manuals.

@@MowerMike definitely an air leak confirmed by spraying carb cleaner down by the crank on the clutch side. Waiting on the seals to re install everything. Thank you!

YOU MAY HAVE a PROBLEM !!!!! When you remove the magneto (finned wheel) to the left bottom at7:30ish,there is a brass colored piece !!!!!! IT IS a GROUND!! Hope it’s there !!

Some gas and a brush go a long way with cleaning those saws.

My other question is why didn't you just take the clutch and flywheel off first. Then lift the crankshaft and cylinder out together. Pull the cylinder off the piston, remove the old piston and wrist pin. Then install the cylinder on the new piston while everything is out of the plastic body. I think that would have been easier.
