Man that thing don't look like it worked for 3 years so clean. I have around 4 years of heavy use and it still runs like a champ.

Bought my 455 rancher 16 years ago and have cut 2-3 cords of firewood with it for 12 of those years with no problems. That being said, she quit on me last week and even the repair shop can't get it to start. Going to go and buy the same saw again tomorrow.

Might be the crank seals. My old 357 quit and even a new carb wouldn't make it run again. I found out later that changing the crank seals really isn't that hard and I mostly let a good saw get away from me.

I find the 455 to be a great saw, obviously not pro level but I've never had an issue with mine!

I’ve have the 45 it was given to me also have stiele 170 both are good saws get firewood for trapping shed and summer time camp fires
@rball690 Жыл бұрын
Neither of those saws are equivalent to a 455. And I also have a Stihl 170 (30cc) and it's nowhere even close to a 455(55cc) Rancher. And the 45 is 44cc.

Yes not a professional saw but a mid grade "farmers/ranchers" saw. I just bought one.

Does it have carburettor adjusting screws? H L and LA? Also, an adjustable oiler? Also a Rim sprocket?

Husqvarna is not Husqvarna of old. They are cheap Chinese junk now. I'd go echo if can't afford a stihl. My Husqvarna are in the trash recycling where belong , as I couldn't even give them away for free.
@ATFisGay Жыл бұрын
Husqvarna pro saws are just as good if not better than previous generations. Any homeowner saw is not the same quality as pro grade. That applies to stihl and echo too.
@C0C0_Nuts Жыл бұрын
Husqvarna and Stihl are both still Swedish/German companies with a lot of their mfg there as well as US and a few other places - and both manufacture their low end products in China.
