@patricknesbit2334 good luck, may need to be replaced. Mine is still going on the same junk belt a year later. Thinking about giving her a full tune up though seeing how these videos do so well.

I had an issue until I applied the brake and that took all the tension off the belt, and I could just put it on by hand.

In other words, yes, the blades can work without the drive. There is a different belt for each system.

I have a YTH 150 that has been sitting for a few years. I finally got her running and when I try to engave (automatic) forward or reverse I get grinding (not moaning) and it acts like it wants to move slightly but will not go. ??? any suggestions?

Maybe low on fluid in the hydrostatic drive? Maybe damaged drive. Don't know that I've ever heard one grind, which also makes me wonder about the belt, belt routing, and pulleys on it. I have a video coming out soon of this mower on a car lift, with the deck off looking up at this belt and it's pulleys, it may be helpful.

How did you bypass the seat safety

@juandelreal91 the clutch / brake does that for cranking the engine. Outside of that, if your question is to specifically know how to bypass the seat switch you need to complete the circuit for the 2 wires going to the switch.

Yes... 3 boulders brake checked me. There is a parts truck that donated many parts to the white one that might be seen off to the left in this video that will be taking the drivetrain out of her. One of the upcoming projects on the channel.

The clutch/brake pedal pushes it. Just follow everything that moves when it is pushed and you should find it. I believe it was pointing down from the frame if I remember correctly
