I ordered the mow ball to replace worn out bearings. My bolt doesn't seem to be long enough it does get in the groove to be able to tighten it up

@anthonyross8426 honestly I returned the part. Used without the mow ball. Then the carb started acting up . Parked it in the shop. I need it BAD. Tried of weedeating regular way. Seems like the funds always going somewhere else though so can't fix it

Bought a longer bolt, took other bolt out. Works like knew again.

My wheel string trimmer has been sitting in a marsh for about 10 years and I don't think that tech or anybody he knows could get the mow ball off of mine the head of the bolt is rusted off the whole thing is seized together it's going to require the whole spindle be replaced.

I can’t unscrew shit on the Mow Ball bolt, the old Mow Ball has broken off just the bolt with a plug which I cannot screw off piece of crap

I hear you, I replaced a mow ball 3 months a go and it is frozen. I had ordered a carrier plate when the string clip broke off. After an hour to remove the bolt holding the mow ball now I need a new one! Then found the carrier plate can't be removed after 2 hours of destruction. The jackshaft has to be replaced to use the new carrier plate! Plus the adjustment clip! I found the complete spindle (mow ball carrier plate and clip, jackshaft and pully all for around 70$. Four bolts and your done! Beats hours of frustration. I figure if the time wasted replacing any one item is worth it.
