Husqvarna TS 348XD first mow

Only had it 30 min, and mowed with it 30 min!

The first oil change is recommended at 8 hours. Also, you should always run your mower at full throttle while the mower deck is engaged. Not doing so puts undue stress on the engine as it limits the air intake and may cause premature engine failure due to over heating. P.S. this info is in the Kawasaki manual if you’d like to check it out.

Being a car guy as well, I'm surprised the manual doesn't mention "break in period ". I am in the market for the exact same unit. "AMSOIL, I PUT THAT SH!T IN EVERYTHING " - ME

I just got this same model. It’s great so far. I did lower the air pressure in the tires. Was nearly 25psi in all 4 tires & it was beating me to death. Dropped to 10psi & is much better.

It needs to be at full throttle when mowing.

I just bought the same one. On my old Craftsman mower. I use a beer bottle and put a cork in it. So grass doesn't get in it. It didn't fall out. FYI

get a 24 ounce can, drink 10 ounces, then put the can in the beer holder and start mowing. jeeze, do I gotta tell you people EVERYTHING?

I used to polish mine 🤐 in thort I was the only one 🤣 Need a big sports cups for the beers or whiskeys

be sure to stop completely before engaging the locking differential .. I did not and am now paying the price to replace the actuator assembly ... 600 bux... bought new tractor end of 2018 season ... 2014 May now and still waiting for the dealership to get the part to fix it ..

54 hours on mine, 3rd year, only problem is front wheel fell of due to retaining clip being loose at start of 2nd season.

Just purchased a TS254XG. Give me back my old Craftsman. I already have more issues with the Husqvarna than I did with the Craftsman in over 10 years.

How is she pulling up the steep hills ?

It's well paced and steady. Plenty of torque. Doesn't really seem to effect performance when cutting at all, up hill

How has it held up? I here the frames are weak and crack and buckle?

Howdy. I actually moved and sold it, since I no longer have grass. I did read that as well, but that was not under normal operating procedure. When you put attachments on the front and stress it to a certain point, I guess that's when it happens. I did feel very comfortable with the stability and structure as I drove it over my rocky and tough terrain.

How much did you get yours for? Im at about 5 hours on mine and id run it at full when you mow it is better for the motor

@@Beans2g0 i ordered mine from AE also but from the website. I had lots if issues with shipping but it wasnt AE's fault. Ended up getting mine for 3200 in the end. Due to a 200 dollars back for labor
