Did you cut your 3” fabric strips on the bias?

No, I didn’t, they were cut on the straight of grain and heavily starched and pressed! Thanks for watching!!😅

Does the binding then always have to be cut 3”, as I usually use 2.5” binding? This looks GREAT!

Hey Rita! Thanks so much for watching! This was my first go at using the new binder, so I haven’t done any experimenting with different widths, Viking recommends a 3” strip and I’ll tell ya, I REALLY like how it turned out!!💖😃 The previous version of this tool took a 1 3/4” strip, and although it is very nice, I definitely like this one better…🤷🏻‍♀️

I have an Epic 2 I use for piecing (because I love the laser!) and I use my Bernina 790 with the stitch regulator for my free motion. I look forward to more of your tutorial videos!!✂️📍✂️
