Got a steal for $300. Looked new as could be. Used it probably 5 times now and the 4th time it was leaking oil around the head gasket dripping oil on the exhaust. Doesnt do it now for some reason. Started running bad and changed the fuel filter spark plug and air filter and runs like new again. Cuts very good since put new blades on. Have no idea how many hours on it. Despite the oil leak I'm not upset. Topped off oil and mowed for a few hours and it is still full. Overall, I think it's a fine machine. 5 stars

Good tractor, I bought my John Deere S100 and these are very comparable. Both companies make great lawn tractors. I have no regrets with my decision, I also believe you can't go wrong with Husqvarna if you just don't want to spend the extra for a John Deere. Great review and love your led headlights! Looking for some on my S100.

I got a used husky 18k46 model from a local small engine shop its similar to yours but it came with the hour meter has a 46 inch deck and a kawasaki fr600v 18hp engine. very nice machine was half the price of a new one at the box store. has like 200 hours on it but she still runs great its a 2014.

I bought mine new in 2020 . Has never failed me yet . I Do maintenance on it and wash / clean it regularly. Great tractor ! Shed kept . I also did the led headlight swap .

You might look under the rear of the tractor at the transmission. If it has a metal housing, it's hydrostatic. If it is black plastic it is belt driven variable speed. The variable speed model is the cheaper one and may not give adequate performance. Just food for thought.

The model number gives it away,. YTA = non hydrostatic, YTH = hydrostatic. As far as I can see the pedals are the same in both models despite what 88PetZA mentioned below. I have a 2014 YTA18542 and it looks to be almost exactly the same as the newer models.

Thanks for the question I really appreciate you reaching out. If you want a snowblower that will really work hard purchase a 28" ARiens. We have 3 28's and 1 32" and they are excellent machines. They get thrashed and keep on going. I have seen very mixed results from attaching blowers to lawn tractors

If you can Jack the mower up and lift the rear wheels. Actuate the pedal fully forward and reverse and note the speeds. This will take 2 people. Also make sure the float lever is fully in hydrostatic drive position.

I've just bought pretty much the same model brand new and as soon as I engage the blades, I feel vibration through the steering wheel and accelerator pedal. Is this normal?! It's literally got 1 hour on it and I'm sure I'm not supposed to feel any vibrations at all?! Okay it's not a lot, but it's definitely there. What do you think?!

Did you strike anything with the mower? I picked up a chunk of fire wood and this created some vibration. I will be installing a new set of blades are they are cheap enough

@@JimsNBHomestead nope, it's brand new and haven't struck anything. I just spoke to the dealer and he said it's normal. Okay it's not a lot but you definitely feel the difference through the accelerator pedal and steering wheel from when the blades are engaged and disengaged. Like I said it's not a huge vibration but it's definitely there. Does yours do this as well?! Thanks for the reply

When does the noise occur? There are a few things to ✔️ check. Make sure the blades are tight. Try and determine if the noise is below or above the deck if the noise occurs while the planes are engaged. You will need a helper.
