You gave me a headache from thinking in the morning LOL. Great job of showing your thought process. Saved the customer a lot of money, and they became a repeat one.

Good morning, Scott! Great video! Watching your video this morning was all the motivation I needed to get back to the chainsaw bench and get another day of repairs underway.

Thanks for tuning in this morning! I'm curious if you record most repairs and have a stock pile of videos waiting to be edited or if you just record as needed?

@ I record most repairs, and edit at night to keep caught up, upload them to YT , take care of the thumbnail and other details and just stock pile them there ready to click the button to turn them on.

Thought just hit me seeing that gas in the funnel. I keep a cheap paint brush (not used for painting prior) in my pocket when I go and cut wood, at each fill up and top off of bar oil, before taking the caps off, I use the brush to clear the debris away. Just food for thought. Great video Scott, always learning from you . Later

Saw sounds good. I found that the coil air gap, at times, can be critical for a good spark on some small engines.

Mu first thought, a smart arsed one, was; of course, its a little weak, its a 135. Good job on shortening that link. Did not sound like a rich carb setting, but maybe user tends to run it at partial throttle a lot. I noticed your gift to Married with Chainsaws; good on you!
@TheGreasyShopRagАй бұрын
You're probably right about the partial throttle but who knows. That stain on the muffler might be left over from a previous repair and will still be there at the next repair. I like watching Ericas videos. I learn a lot about Stihl saws from her because I don't see that kind of volume of those saws, and clearly she knows what shes talking about.

Nice job Scott. Bending the throttle linkage fixed it, but all the other stuff will make it run a lot better and longer. The Ratfink tee shirts originated with Ed “Big Daddy” Roth in the 1950’s. Laaaaaaater.

Awesome greasy shop had done it again and laughing my grease of my ass when schmutz had to be blown away 😂😂 But seriously i cleaned the air filter same way adding some mechanical toothbrush and looked through sunlight it was clean and intact. Are there in every Husqvarna that same mesh at the exhaust? I never saw it in 340 model🤷🤔 And no didn't expect schmutz in the gasoline 🤣 That flywheel was a dirty biatch treated with schmutz 😱 Great video again thanks you 🙏

Most equipment has some type of spark arrestor screen to prevent forest fires. If you didn't see one then there is a fair chance someone else removed it. Thanks for watching!

Hello Nice Video about the saw. I own the older Modell mark 1 135. Its a little and easy to handle saw, i like it much and never let me down. One question? Is it normal that you hit the Saws so hard on the Table? I saw this earlyer and i was wondering if this is normal? Thank you for the Video i see on the next one and Greetings from Germany., the Stihl Land.
@TheGreasyShopRagАй бұрын
Its not normal. Its all theatrics. No saws were harmed in the filming of these videos. Thanks for watching!

You think its worth learning small engine repair today ? Im 32 and tired of warehouse work . Also how long you think ot would take me to learn ? Thanks bud
@TheGreasyShopRagАй бұрын
Sadly, it might be a gamble. If things keep moving like they are on the west coast then small gas engines will be a thing of the past. Battery equipment still needs to be repaired so if you choose this path then make sure you learn about electricity. You will need to gain experience repairing equipment but you first need to know basic theory of operation. Don't skip this part because everything has to obey certain operating principles and when you know that then you can fix a lot of stuff.

@@deenp3761 I don't know your background so I can't say but three months sounds pretty aggressive. Have you looked into online training. Check out the EETC. They offer formal training and sell study material as well.
