Some good questions, components, Barrel, Trigger, and ammo selection, plus a patient shooter using a stable position, will often equal a good firing solution. There are so many options to choose from these days, that it can be overwhelming, especially when it come to following people who have experience, knowledge, and talent. They can be influential since they have sponsors, support, and money to choose the latest and greatest. At the end of the day, what matters most is what you gave the least attention to, and that would be your closing statement and if we don't know our have a relationship in obedience to " The LORD " none of the other investments will matter...! I still use a 5.56 for my precision platform, since it is able to get out there if I do my part, it is probably the least expensive of all cartridges ( especially when hand loading to get the most consistency ) and components are readily available, recoil is almost non existent, so you can stay on target for quick follow up shots. You may even consider trying to hold instead of dialing, that way your never lost because you forgot to return to zero, and if need be holding will save you time if on a follow up shot you need to make a quick correction on wind or elevation, this help's tremendously on those targets that would like t get away from what they were destined for... I don't know much about guns, but I enjoy your videos! A question that might sound really dumb: Shouldn't a suppressor be in the same caliber as the rifle round? You mentioned a 7.62 suppressor but the rifle is chambered in 6.5? Again, it might be a stupid question but I want to learn!

Anything 30 cal (7.62) size or smaller can be used through it.

It's normally OK to run a caliber smaller than the bore diameter of the suppressor. You might lose a tiny bit of sound attenuation but it poses no danger so long as the round is stabilized as it goes through the baffle stack. Stabilization is a function of the barrel rifling and bullet length/weight so if that part is not good then there is always a risk of baffle strikes regardless of bore diameter.

Let us know if the Ventum messes with the barrel harmonics. I have the same setup and I think it might on mine but have to do some more testing. The first round of a mag seems to fly high with all ammo and then all the following rounds drop into place.

My groups at 1k have not changed, and I think it may actually have improved them somewhat. This rifle in the current config feels like a laser. I have tons of footage but Adobe Premiere fatal issues are causing problems with the edits. I'm waiting on some badly-needed patches to upload more content, but it's been great so far.
