Can you please let me know where you purchased the 30-60-90minute timer? Apparently Minotair timers only go 10-20-30mins.

What an excellent unit.. I was impressed though the one thing that would make me crazy is doing filter changes. Because of the location in this particular location, I just know at my age 70 years old not climbing into this space.

some questions...1) apx. cost of installed system 2) can electric back up be switched to a gas fired back up 3) is unit low / easy maintenance, which is always an issue w/ hvac 4) are there bigger Minotair units for a 1,300 sq.ft. apartment with 5 rooms on 2 floors 5) do they work with Ring Thermostats

i have a Minotair unit installed in my house. I can tell you the following: 1) basic unit cost was 8k CAD that recently got upped to over 10k by the vendor. The HVAC contractor will add labor, materials and profit on top of this. 2) you can have gas heating system's setpoint in such a way that if temperature dips too much in the house (i.e. Minotair doesnt keep up), that gas system will turn on. 3) Unit's MERV 8 filters have to be replaced every 3 months, and MERV 15 filter once a year. 4) They only have one model. My house is 2500sqft and my heating system is Minotair + 5kW heating coil for a Vancouver, BC climate. If you are referring to air-flow, it provides up to 180CFM of fresh air which should be good for 12 occupants (based on 15CFM/person occupancy based on ASHRAE). 5) It is not obvious if it works with Ring thermostat as their manual provides no indication. But you can contact their support and get more info. Just google Minotair Pentacare V12.
