Great video. I just hope you're good without a new drier you may have gotten a lower micron.

Would have gone with a larger filter drier that had service ports on it. Was nitrogen flowed while brazing?
@R290s_biggest_fan6 ай бұрын
Bigger risk of clogging up the cap tube. This is real world refrigerant, it's fine.

Thank you for posting. Quick question is there no need to change the filter dryer for this repair? Thank you for sharing your knowledge

💪❄️👍🇺🇸 great work. If I have a high side port I always like to c what it reads even on cc. Maybe put a stub on hi while hose on low. Gotta love kitchen/bar refrigeration no room. Wonder how long compressor last in tight spot. Probably wicked hot behind unit. Thanks JMT 💪

Can I ask why you charged liquid through the suction line with it off and not through the liquid line? Does it matter? Was taught through the liquid line with unit off from a vacuum

The door thermometer failed on both units? You would expect a commercial device to be built to a better standard than that- doesn't reflect well on “True” as a brand. Always enjoy your videos!

I miss doing this kind of work. can never trust the thermometer on those units, I am sure you can adjust them as I remember doing it.

Good job Jumper, Where's the music when your brazing? Chris from HVACR plays music when he brazes, I feel like I got ripped off on this video. Just kidding, good job.

My GOSH!! you are Awesome You explain every step. I will like/sub your page and will be following you weekly or 3-5 times a month. You have some Great videos. I am a DIY HVAC guy. I would love to lean WAY MORE and get cert in it. i have all the tools and Freon. Can i ask, why you did not put in oil back in the unit? or does it not need any. i have never fixed a freezer before. i sure did learn you using those Taps. i will go buy some of those for my next DIY fix it issue. thanks keep up the Great videos.

Do you charge and receive a troubleshooting fee for the first visit to the customer, also do you get full payment upon completion or bill the customer?

Excellent video as always JMT! I love you guys I really do! Great punchlines, that would rival any blockbuster action movie. JMT:” Ok, let’s light this place up!” F**king brilliant. I would have said:” Hot work in 10 min 🥱”. Just wondering though was there a reason why you weren’t able to pull a 500 micron vacuum? What was the reason the unit took so long to start after you plugged it in? Thanks for your great content!!!!!💪💪💪💪

At 1:25 you said you could hear the leak. "It must have just happened, and I totally caught it." Is that what you told the owner?

And then at 2:41 you say "I must have just caught it right when it happened. I don't know how it happened" My machines spring leaks right when I get there, too.
