He’s not over rated at all, but he should have been a NCAA champ this year but because of this corona virus he missed it. The freshman Cohl Schultz from ASU has a chance to dethrone him. If he does would that make Stevenson the greatest wrestler to never win a title?

Cassar won this match in the off-season with his lifting and conditioning. Gable needs to gain at least 20 pounds of muscle if he wants to be a Olympic Gold medalist. He also needs to tone up more. The reason neither wrestler took too many shots is because they both felt the shots coming and countered them before they started. If you look close enough during the 1st two periods, you can see this happening. It make for a less fun match to watch but it makes for a better final minute in the match when it's close.

The reason Gable couldn't grab Cassar's(not Ceasar) leg is because Cassar lifted Gable's whole body off the mat with his legs. Gable was not expecting that to happen. When in the air and upside down he was at Cassar's mercy.

Gable almost had an escape almost had a reversal. Didn't get either. It was never going to be easy. Who will get the #1 seed at the NCAA? One of White, Cassar, or Steveson. The 1 seed will only have to face one of them. The 2/3 seeds will have to face 2. Steveson has the best record, but won't be conference champ. I don't know how they tiebreak that.

Cassar, White, and Steveson have beat each other in some sort of way. But I feel Cassar has had a more dominant season, putting him over Derek White, even though he lost to him. Then obviously, he just beat Gable here. 1) Cassar 2) Steveson 3) White

@@oscar.berry_dorkus Cassar didn't have a more dominant season than Steveson. Steveson won about ten more matches. Cassar beat Steveson by one point, white beat Cassar by one point and Steveson beat white by 6. Steveson has about 10 more wins and more wins against ranked opponents. If you go by most dominant season it's Steveson. His only downside is no conference championship. Whoever gets the one seed gets a big advantage. It will be interesting.

@@oscar.berry_dorkus However, it is a 3 man mix right If Cassar was competing with White only they both have one loss, but white would get him on H2H. However since there are three guys one loss each and they all went 1-1 you can't give the edge to any one of them for beating any other one of them. Unless they weight the conference championship more than Steveson has the best record in total numbers. However weighting for Conference champions if that eliminates Steveson it comes down to H2H and White has the win.

Ya gable was in talks with the ufc & WWE and eventually decided to take the easier option but will be giving up competing. Lesnar did the same thing until he found that WWE wasn’t fulfilling his natural desire to compete & it wasn’t satisfying his competitive drive. So went to the UFC, made millions of dollars, developed a serious illness/injury and was forced to go back to WWE and do that until he retires. Whether Gable will do the same is yet to be seen, I think he probably won’t because no matter how strong his desire to complete is, it still takes a ton of courage to fight at the highest levels in the UFC, and it’s also a big risk as well as a big reward, I just don’t see him being up to it. But Cassar is a natural fighter & competitor. He’s already turned pro & had his first pro fight, he looked incredible & got a first round finish. Dude may very well be UFC champion some day!

@@daamitbobby9662 He may be strong but he's still a fatboy. The day's of the fatboys are soon to be gone at HWT. Steveson couldn't control his balance when Cassar got his leg. Steveson does not have great balance. He mostly uses his weight against his opponents when preventing them from taking him down. He's not used to being taken down like that. I don't think Steveson will be able to stop Cassar if they wrestle again if he get's bull rushed by Cassar. He loves to do that to those big wrestlers. Steveson's leg pick was prevented time and time again by Cassar this match. The only thing that he was able to do is go down on a leg and come out the back side for a body slam to the mat for his takedown. Cassar will be watching for that next time.
