Thanks for the video, You just convinced me to buy a set of these instead of the cheap hydraulic ones. These seem to do a great job and are so simple I can't see them failing easily.

Cheers buddy I just bought this tool to hook up a 25mm solar system and I figured it worked that way but it was fantastic to see you actually do it and confirm!

I had to set it at 35 for a 50 plug. So I dont like the tool. I will get something better later . And my 2nd plug also 50 done at 35 has one loose wire. The bms has 2 wires. So I will hammer it flat.

If the lug you were crimping was a 35mm lug, and you needed to use a 25mm die to get a tight crimp because the 35mm die you were using produced a loose crimp, than I would not be recommending this tool.

Hi, is this tool practical when need to crimp short lengths of cable, let say 10 mm2 , straight in the junction box? Thanks

I would say this tool is the biggest stuff it is quite big and clumsy but it does the job well
