This video got me switching from the MIDI Baby 1 to the 3! The 3 is on the way now. It will be nice having a mini board for church as a back up to my Helix LT. Thanks for the inspiration!

Great setup. My only piece of advice would be to go into the tuner first so you get a good input buffer. Then just use the expression pedal as your volume on the "channel volume" for whatever amp you are using. This way you get no tone suck. May be something to try. Good setup and great playing.

Interesting thought, I was not aware of tone suck on the dunlop pedal, I might research that and give it a try.

I agree; I put the Polytone mini in first position because it acts as a buffer.

I actually was trying to get a used a white HX stomp but slightly missed it. I'm not aware of white dunlop mini volume pedal on the market.

Hi! If you have the hx stomp as a tap tuner, you can replace the polytune with an octave pedal! A mini one would be a nice sound to try out

Ich versuche schon seit ein paar Tagen mein HX Stomp XL mit meinem ToneX one über den FX Loop zu kombinieren. Das problem bei mir ist, dass ich alle Effekte die nach dem FX Loop kommen wie z.b Delay nicht höre. Ich habe schon verschiedene Kabel ausprobiert, über Mono und Stereo, verschiedene Effekte usw. Aber irgendwie funktioniert es nicht. Könntest du mir da weiter helfen?

Dear Michael, great build! One question for the fellow German: How much does your pedalboard weigh? Is it a reasonable size to still be able to cycle with it?

I haven't weighed it but I'd say it's a moderate weight. Nothing too crazy but you do notice it. If you can secure it safely on the back of your bike I guess you are good to go. Hanging of off the side of your shoulder I wouldn't go by bike with it

No lo está usando como pedal de expresión, lo usa solo como pedal de volumen. La salida principal va a la HX Stomp, la salida auxiliar la configuró para que ignore la posición del pedal y esa se la mandó al afinador para poder afinar siempre aunque tenga el pedal muteando la señal.

Wäre nicht die XL Version vom hx stomp eine bessere Lösung statt hx stomp + midi Switch? Dann könnte man einfacher auch andere Effekte aus hx stomp (chorus/flanger/phaser/etc) zur Hand haben...

Da habe ich lange hin und her überlegt (habe auch mal ein Video zum Stomp XL gemacht), im wesentlichen diese 3 Gründe - Stomp + Midi Controller ist kleiner als der Stomp XL - Button-Belegung beim Stomp XL für meinen Geschmack zu unflexibel - ich mochte schlicht das Aussehen vom Stomp XL nicht. Deshalb meine Entscheidung für dieses Setup
