So great to see this already coming out, I was worried it wouldn't arrive until November. Would love to see comparisons with the LG G1 and Sony A90J

There is literally no way to judge that based on a youtube recording of sound being played on another device. You're not listening to the soundbar, you're listening to the microphone it's recorded with, being played back through your own speakers.

Bonjour sir. Are you sure it is an evo panel and did you do any measurement.I am getting very excited by this tv (not good for my heart). It seems to build on the 935 and sort all the key issues in one nice package… Amy chance we can get google tv instead of android 10 as a firmware update? Awaiting further reviews and comparisons…

Should you leave the locale image protection on the OLED 936 at normal or set it to high? What is better?

Hi! I want to buy 65OLED936 but in our country it is not available yet. In our TV shop answered me that maybe it will come in November, December. I heard from AV forum that in SD channels connected by (RF) input out of sync. I have information that OLED706 has the same problem when using antenna (RF) input. Maybe all other 2021 models the same. Could Philips fix it in new firmware? Logo Dimming. People prefer that logo dimming will start after 10 minutes and not after seconds. White LED it is stand by mode but not red. Usually it is Red and on my old Philips 37PFL9603 also red. Will be fine if Philips add to all new models Gigabit Network adapters. 10/100 is too old and low speed. And all USB inputs can be 3.0 or 3.1 everywhere. Who needs old USB 2.0 speed on these expensive devices... Has this model Subwoofer output with RCA or 3.5mm? On manual and videos it is not possible to see.
@hxosplus3 жыл бұрын
It has a sub-out. You don't need USB 3.0 in TVs
@drive-story3 жыл бұрын
@@hxosplus I received picture from owner of 936 and there is RCA kind out put for Subwoofer. In manual of 936 on the picture is 3.5 mm connectors. About USB 3.0. If network 10/100 card is too slow for some videos that I can play from PC server, I can use USB - LAN Adaptor and speed will be faster that 10/100 with USB 3.0. Hope it works.

For the best built-in sound it looks like the Philips 936 and 986 are where it's at and for me it seems to be one of the main selling points of the device. Panasonic seems to be best for movie picture quality. LG seems to be best for value and has the best OS and comes with two remotes so you can use the one you prefer (two great options). One of the main downfalls for me for the Philips is the remote control looks terrible and AVForums said some users may not like the feel of the buttons. The ambient lighting I don't care about. Would like a Panasonic OLED with LG OS and their remotes and sound from this (Philips 936) or the Philips 986. Dialogue is supposed to be clear, which is always a good thing. The Panasonic JZ2000 has good audio, but the audio on this machine seems to be better or clearer, at least account to one reviewer in the forums. To be fair I personally didn't compare them. More TV makes need to aim for this kind of sound quality. It's my main pet peeve with them. I'm not particularly fond of adding on a separate sound system to my TVs, and prefer if they come with everything built-in.
